Don't know if this was posted or not. I've only seen some repurposed #sources tweeted so grain of salt, etc etc.

Kinda sorta makes sense for both teams. Philly need to replace Green's contact and his is not guaranteed. Get a distance shooter who can play backup PG minutes cause you know that Harden hammy hill keep him out for weeks at a time. Maybe Knicks have to throw in the likes of #42 or some future second.

I don't think you thought this through far enough.

In the class that Maxey was drafted, he was picked #21. Saddiq Bey was #19. Last year, Ayo Dosunmu was #38 and Herb Jones was #35. And you don't think the #23 is good enough?

i would definitely do this deal. Love Burks but 76ers see more value in him and we should see more value in 23 -- which might also enable us to move up if packaged with 11

relatedly if 76ers see that much value in Burks i wonder if packaging him and 11 to Sacramento in some way makes sense since they're supposedly looking for win now types

Also, it allows more playing time for guys like Cam,Deuce and Grimes. I thought Burks would bring back a couple of second rounders. A 1sy would be great. Also would help with any trade up in this year's draft.

If Utah wants 4 1st picks, we can do that, Dallas as part of two. One of ours has to be a swap though, and there has to be top 5 protections on one as well. And, RJ is not part of the deal. He is part of our future.

I been saying knicks are deep and have much to trade with. This is just part of it. A small part. If Thibs had Burkes train to play pg some he added value to him and extended his career.

This should be interesting. Kenny is who I wanted to hire to coach our young team. Should be fun to figure out if I was right or dead wrong.

I was pro Kenny as well but I don't think you are going to find out if you were dead wrong or not as Charlotte has different personel than we do and did at the time. He has an elite, young pg to run his offensive principles and I think a really good offensive team got even better on that end. One of the biggest issues in Charlotte last year was on the defensive end, so if Atkinson is going to be successful, he needs to emphasize the defensive side of the ball as well.

You make some very good points. I am hoping that Quick can become our elite young pg. Chances are that won't happen but I am going to cling to that hope.

Stephs ability to concentrate and focus on his follow through and shooting mechanics despite a hand in his face, getting hit on his shooting hand and a foot in his landing space is unreal.

Its possible but we won't know for sure until he gets the minutes and the confidence from his coach.

Impossible to stop. Celtics big mistake was trying to get into a 3 point shooting contest w the best. They need to take good 3s but attack the basket. Good job by gs d last night playing 2 big. They caused havoc at rim

He’s a good coach. Still think we made the right choice with Thibs but Atkinson as my second choice. He got screwed by the KD/Kyrie Diva Duo

Atkinson from what I read was a bit of a self promoter and was the defacto leader of that nets team. He did a great job! He installed a hard culture with “you do things this way”. That was great for the young team and he did just that. In that very mode Thibs was also that kind of “Cult leader” and knicks did have a great first season under him.

Kenny was not right for that Nets team that seemingly changed over night. Not that the results were there with Nash, but thats not on coaching style either. But Kenny got paid and waited for a good situation to come up.

The Hornets are in a prime position to make the. Next move into the playoffs and still young enough to adapt to Atkinsons rigid style. Only a shallow impulsive thinker would compare him and thibs two years apart with entirely two different rosters and try to stand up and do a “I told you so”. IF they can retain Miles Bridges and Lamelo continues to grow the Hornets are in a good spot going forward. If not traded and reasonably healthy they need to figure a way to blend in Lamelo as primary ball handler and move Haywood into off it more. That will interesting. Haywood contract is not easily moved. Might add him to Phil’s “show me a bad contract” list. He did play 78 games after his horrific ankle break season where he needed to shake the rust but regressed to 48 games last season.

Green played 67 games last year. Kemba is cooked.
We can move his salary to a team in need of a one legg'd star or can buy him out. Not sure where this falls.
We could have done it, but I suppose we forgot? Or, we not saavy? Or we not in tax situation? Or have other ideas how to use his expiring if in fact we do.
