Immanuel Quickley's former high school coach from The John Carroll School joined the NBK panel to discuss Quickley's character, work ethic, development from high school to college to the NBA, and what he needs to do to be a successful starting point guard in the NBA.
He also tells who he thinks Quickley compares to in the NBA and whether or not he can be an All-Star in the NBA.

Immanuel might have trouble keeping his nba rotation spot over our rookies.

Quickley needs to improve his FG efficiency. He needs to be shooting at least 45% from the field and 40% from 3. He can achieve these percentages if he improves his shot selection, including cutting back on the Steph curry 3s. Of course he is a good shooter but his fg% percentages are going to remain so so until he makes better decisions in the shots he takes. He does that and then we can start talking about him becoming a star. Honestly, I think that McBride kids looks like he could be the better PG but we shall see.
