I was a bigger supporter of Frank than most, but have no desire to bring him back. Deuce fills the limited use defensive stopper role just as well, and has some offensive potential. I defended FN a lot, but at some point he has to step up & assert himself, and I see no evidence that he can do this.
I liked what I saw of Rokas in the SL & Euro clips of him I've seen. I'd like to see him compete for a spot on back end of our bench. I see him as one of those savvy Luka/Jokic Euros (Not in terms of talent!) who doesn't jump out at you with measurable athleticism, but seems to know the game and anticipate things in a way that makes up for his so-so athletic ability.
If they can trade him, so be it, but it's hard to dislike someone who hasn't played a second for the Knicks in the regular season.
Yam Madar won it this year. I'm a fan and wanted us to draft him. The Rising Star award is a decent indicator of NBA success and I think the Rok can play. I just don't see an immediate pathway to him getting minutes here.

my sentiments exactly, right down to being a big FN supporter. Kept hoping he would flip the switch -- even with Dallas

Just looking at the stats, it looks like his playmaking and ball handling improved while his shooting numbers took a dip. Kinda similar to what IQ went through lasts season.

The Rok has had some impressive games against Luca's squad. I know they were on the SL roster at the same time, but I don't remember much from Vildoza.

Actually, the turn over was his face away jump shot getting absolutely blocked. Not sure he has any of the physical talents that will allow him to contribute
