It was a great comeback. They did it the right also... playing D and hitting big shots.

To me its as simple as RJ/Randle. If they are both playing well the Knicks are a tough out and they surely showed that last year. This we have looked great again when they both play well... thats been like twice (only kinda sarcastic )

We have enough other pieces for Thibs to piece together wins and thats literally what won him COY of the year. Ride Randle/RJ and match up other parts and go. We saw a lot of different combos finish games and we see this year he goes with the hot hands and match ups.... except for RJ and Randle. Those guys are getting 30+ and have to be utterly abysmal to get less (which has also happened)

Basically our season comes to down to RJ/Jules. Now note I am NOT asking for them to be first team NBA. They are both around 33% from 3 and 47% EFG which is shit for the two guys taking the most shots. If we can get those 3s into the 37-38% range (both finished over 40% last year) and that EFG% in the 50-55 range the Knicks will have a fantastic 2nd half, similar to last year because I also think guys like IQ/Obi/Mitch/Burks are better and Grimes/McBride are gonna help more than Frank and Theo Pinson did

I give RJ credit because Robert Williams owned him for most of last night. He was definitely spooked going into the paint after getting blocked so many times. But when it came to crunchtime he still made an agressive drive to draw a foul (though 1/2 at the line - Knicks have been shit on clutch FTs all year). Then obviously the game winner. I think that's gonna be a launch point for him.

I don't think we'll ever reach .500 again this season.

That's how I felt last year while two games below. 500 @ 25-27 after 52 games.
