truth is we get Julius/RJ to have anything like the 2nd half they had last year good chance we end up near the same spot. Supporting cast is there. Bottom line is last year we were built on that motor and this year its running really poor... like REALLY poor. Some here think its salvageable. Others do not. Time will tell.

One game out of the 10th seed. Problem hawks and pacers both might leap frog us
I’ve been meaning to ask where we are meeting up for this run and just how soon? I wouldn’t mind the cardio.

And only 1.5 back of the 8th seed.
A two game run is not out of the question.
Soon.

I hear Fishy has been in training. Don't call it a comeback.
Lets make it 4 in a row (with Julius Randle in the lineup) tonight.

Be careful. Dude can apparently hold his breath for 4-5 minutes. I'm still trying to figure out if that qualifies as a super power.
Looking to make it 5 consecutive wins in a row ala 5-0 (with Julius Randle starting) tonight.

We're on a 10-0 run when Fournier shoots over .400 from 3!!!
See what fun this is?!?!? Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens...

Um. No we're not. That is a lie.
Evan Fournier shot .429% from 3 @ Toronto and we still lost by the score of 90-87 (12/10/2021).
Knicks are actually 11-5 during games where EF shoots at least .400% from 3 (and no where close to "10-0").
It must really bother you just knowing that the Knicks are 5-0 during Julius Randle's previous 5 games played.
It must be bothering you so much so; to the point of you feeling the need to make up horse crap lies in order to discredit NYs record of 5-0 during our All-Stars previous 5 games.
Nice try.
Try again.

Oops, my bad. We're actually 10-0 when Fournier shoots
at least .430 from 3! And try some reading comprehension; I said shooting OVER .400, not "at least". So stop with the horse crap lies, okay? LMAO
Horse crap lies? Really? Easy there homer boy. You're taking yourself just a little bit too seriously.
And no, it doesn't bother me that we're 5-0 with Julius. It bothers me that you're grasping at straws to sing your homer songs to the point where even a John Sterling homer like me is getting annoyed.
You're singlehandedly giving homerism a bad name. If that's possible.

GOLD
The next Boston game is probably the biggest game of the season because i feel these 2 teams may end up with roughly the same wins and having a 3-1 record against them may separate play in game from 6th seed
I feel like last night was a huge game for the team- to come together after being down 24 and to finally have a game winner go down. I think it will help RJ a lot. He needed something positive like that

It was a great comeback. They did it the right also... playing D and hitting big shots.
To me its as simple as RJ/Randle. If they are both playing well the Knicks are a tough out and they surely showed that last year. This we have looked great again when they both play well... thats been like twice (only kinda sarcastic
)
We have enough other pieces for Thibs to piece together wins and thats literally what won him COY of the year. Ride Randle/RJ and match up other parts and go. We saw a lot of different combos finish games and we see this year he goes with the hot hands and match ups.... except for RJ and Randle. Those guys are getting 30+ and have to be utterly abysmal to get less (which has also happened)
Basically our season comes to down to RJ/Jules. Now note I am NOT asking for them to be first team NBA. They are both around 33% from 3 and 47% EFG which is shit for the two guys taking the most shots. If we can get those 3s into the 37-38% range (both finished over 40% last year) and that EFG% in the 50-55 range the Knicks will have a fantastic 2nd half, similar to last year because I also think guys like IQ/Obi/Mitch/Burks are better and Grimes/McBride are gonna help more than Frank and Theo Pinson did
