Can thibs just declare the offseason moves as a disaster, place Evan in the second or 3rd unit and elevate grimes as a starter. Thats a drastic change that might pay off. I think all 3 rookies are workers and give the same vibe and energy as Obi and IQ. Just bring back the feel of last year's team. Give Grimes a significant role and just bench Evan for more defense.

Im with you Jmpasq, im not really stressing over the team's performance this year. A part of me wants them to land in the lottery, i feel they are still 1-2 young studs away from being a yearly competative team without relaying on free agents to improve. Better to build good team from your own stables like golden state is doing.

For those keeping score, we are 1-4 Since Kemba got removed from the line-up. And no, I am not saying Kemba would have made a difference....Just pointing it out.
Can our luck get any worse? 1st the AD flu takes a few of us out and now COVID rares its head to try and take its turn.
Extremely disappointed. I understand the second game of a back to back are always tough, especially if you're traveling from San Antonio to Indiana but that's the NBA and there are no excuses. We played dead last night defensively. It's on everybody. Nobody played well defensively. Nobody could stay infront of anyone. It didn't matter who it was. It seemed like the Pacers had the red carpet rolled out onto the paint. You can expect that from Fournier, who has been just awful defensively, but RJ needs to be better. He's here to be the defensive stopper and set the tone defensively and I feel he mailed it in last night. I love RJ and I don't like singling him out cause the entire team was garbage last night and he's been starting to hit his threes but the best way RJ can and will help this team is defensively.
Same with Randle. We go as he goes. Unfair or not, he's the 'man' at the moment and with that comes responsibilities. He cannot take nights off defensively. He didn't take much nights off defensively last season and there were personal rewards. He needs to get back to that. He's been way too lax out there. And he needs to quit arguing with the zebras. It's a waste of time. STFU and adjust. Nothing you say will change their minds. All he's doing is hurting the team. He played so well against San Antonio, it's annoying when he plays like he did last night. We all know he can do it. We saw it for an entire season. Empty arenas or not, he did it. There is still time this season to turn it around but it's on him.
Sucks being under .500. We can and need to do better. I really think Thibs needs to start considering replacing Fournier with Kemba or even Grimes in the SL if he's not going to try harder defensively.
How the hell does Kemba sit there and watch Kevin Knox get burn? I mean, I understand professionalism, and counting your money and being a good teammate and all that, but jeez, this is a sport...
