Good lord. Uninspiring, lacking charisma, not a lick of common sense, and nothing that looks like cohesive team basketball.
This team is hard to watch.
The best team includes Noel. But we also have 99 problems😢
It's really painful. When our guys go off it's great, but it's always damn ISO. We got to be one of the leagues bottom dwellers assists wise
Knicks spent all this money adding Walker and Fournier this summer and really have nothing to show for it. For what they got at that price they could have just signed DeRozan and started Burks at PG from the jump and had a real difference maker. In retrospect, adding Walker and Fournier seems great on paper but clearly doesn’t fit with Thibs coaching style. Leon Rose did great getting a team that fit Thibs last year and this summer with real money signed big name players who aren’t in sync with the coach. Changes will have to be made.

Walker is not even worth the hail mary used to sign him - hopeless acquisition.
Fournier, a paper superstar who adds zero value to winning. The end of the bench scrubs who don't distinguish the uniform. Why is whats-his-name still here?
Trades? I'd take Wanamaker at this point.

Fournier was always going to be a terrible signing. Can we please stop signing players from the Magic. They are somehow a worse franchise than the Knicks, but we continue to sign their castaways. I won't criticize the Walker move. For the money it was worth a shot. It didn't work out, but we only asked him to be an upgrade over Elf. It could of been a home run. Unfortunately, he is washed

No, he was not worth it. He was washed when he signed. It ain't about the money its about the unnecessary noise. Now he's like a sob story - poor guy is benched, boo hoo.
Lose him.
I was really hoping the knicks gambled big in the offseason and did exactly what the Bulls did. I was hoping we signed both Lonzo and DeMar instead of kemba and evan. Nothing else we can do about it now

no, there is - we can blow it up, fire Thibs and hire Mike Miller!!!!
Kidding.
How did we look so good against the Spurs and then the next night, we look like a G League team that met for the first time?
Our offense definitely needs help. But so does our D.
This team looks exactly like it did before MITCH got hurt, and we traded for Rose.
On a side note, DSJ is now the starting pg the Blazers..

Talk about missed opportunities. The Bulls did well.
What can explain the Lonzo disconnect? Did we save a pick? Or refuse to trade... who?
Fournier rather than Demar? Blame it on over-analytics.
And does anyone notice the similarity to Thibs' records in Minnesota? He's a sucker for his own profile.
This season could go sideways fast. This is still NY.
The honeymoon suite's booking is expiring.

Thibs is a win-often and soon coach while Miller was a development coach. Pick your poison. No kidding.
Rose, Kemba, Randle,... and a handful of gym rats?... is winning what any time soon?
Either the Knicks bulk up on talent for Thibs or we wait for lightning to strike. we are more than a straw short on talent.

Its also looking like Thibs 2nd yr in mini where his teams defense sank to the bottom of the league and he got fired.

Lol. Come on dude. Try harder than DSJ. Feel free to look at their situation, BTW.
I think Grimes, Sims and McBride are all capable players that can contribute. Yes the season is still young and its not lost. Thibs committed around 20 games to see what kemba and evan can do, why not commit 10-15 games and let the rookies play im sure these players will give maximum effort on defense and with some burn they can get their 3-ball going. Rest Noel to get him healthy and let sims play. I do think IQ or Miles can be the starting PG of the future, now is the time t give them that chance
It’s really a shame we can’t move the ball and get everyone involved… we have to take this game with a grain of salt … young team on back to back from Texas to Indy more then anything they looked spent… I’ve never heard of back to backs from so far away .
But we got problems, EF is talented but not one play was made to get him open. That’s on the coaching staff we have to get everyone involved not just Randal .
Just like we never ran plays for kemba but it’s not his fault it’s the coaching staff … you have to get your players involved we can’t expect positive results when a player isn’t involved for long stretches of the game .

+1 watching the highlights again, Randle seems to put EF in an almost no win situation with the ball over and over again. Is he trying to prove a point or something? I watched Jules a few times hand off the ball while EF was easily going to have one defender all over him and Jules' man was right there as well. Does he miss Bullock so much that he wants EF to look bad?
Kemba is just a lost cause at this point. Not sure if it's the knees or if he's just not really Thibs-type material?
And what happened to RJ's supposed elite defensive mode? He's almost bottom barrel in the league.
It feels like trades are coming I just can’t call for who?
Chemistry is science and science can be messy. Some times you get Sputnik and sometimes you get Chernobyl. I'm guessing this team is something in between, like the Zune.
