Knicks · This ain't chemistry (page 2)

Chemistry is science and science can be messy. Some times you get Sputnik and sometimes you get Chernobyl. I'm guessing this team is something in between, like the Zune.

Yeah and the blazers are 0~3 with DSJ starting including a blowout loss debacle to the Celtics at home

I’ll say it again and again and again. DSJ sux

When Randle not on the floor our chemistry looks really good

Since Ja Morant been out, the griz looks like a championship team. Should they trade Ja?

Sometimes it helps when the star player is out. Gives the role players room to step up. And the star player gets to see how good or bad his team is (what was bron thinking watching the lakers lose without him).

The problem are these heavy contracts players sign. Since everybody gets a huge check, they think they have to take the most shots or impact the game on offense. But the contracts is just a reflection of the nba revenue. But I believe it’s causing confusion for players who are good but not great. Randle is a very good player, but not mentioned as one of the greatest. And I believe he’s trying to show his value vs just playing a role that helps the team win. This goes for EF as well. He opens the floor by just being on the floor. He’s not going to lead the team in any stat consistently. Maybe for allow the most dribble drive plays while playing man to man defense.

This might be the best time to trade Randle. Since we are deep with draft picks. We just have the wrong star for thibs. I don’t think your two players that receive the most minutes should be inconsistent. Those mins should go to players thibs can depend on. And I’m not sure we have players like that. U can only be consistent if you know and accept your role. RJ and Randle rarely have consistent games this season. Our team consistency relies on our two top players who lead the league in mins. If they are inconsistent our team will be inconsistent.

wonder if Memphis would trade Ja for RJ & maybe 1 or 2 extras?

also easier to trade our Coach for one that will get better production out of Randle & RJ.

Who is the right star for Thibs? I posted in the other thread - Chris Duhon get 22 assists playing for MDA in 1 game. What is the most he could get playing under Thibs? Maybe 9.

Ja is a generational pg who just beat Steph Curry in the playoffs. Are you seriously comparing him and Randle?

Yeah that's it. The team needs MDA letting Chris Duhon passing to Randle and RJ who are shooting worse than last year and that's going to turn us into a .600 team.

And I bet if we still had Frankie, MDA would turn him into Michael Jordan.

Lesson not learned. When 2 different players are in the same discussion, it does not automatically mean you are comparing the players. Read for the thought process, not whatever else you are doing

Randle is killing us this year. You all will eventually learn and admit, hopefully it’s not after we miss the playoffs

Again. Where did the team chemistry go?

Thibs needs to call a huddle and show these guys a basketball and say, "Gentlemen, *this* is a basketball".

This is a Mike Miller project as constituted, not Thibs.

Even in the loss last night seeing RJ now pulling up and taking mid range jumpers.
Sorry some of you can’t find some joy in seeing this kid evolve. The progress weekly is glorious to behold.
Its not always apparent and he is not a bonafide star. He is not camping out in the corner anymore!!!!!!
