Swap Obi for RJ and I would be done with that. Kemba, Fournier, Obi as your three off the bench. Mitch/Noel/Taj situational.

Basically, good teams win the 1st & 3rd quarter.

Those are the quarters we are losing.

I know - that article is nearly 7 years old. BUT! I bet the data is very similar if you took a sample from this year.

Why is Thibs continuing to play a starting line up that gives up 20 point leads?

Assuming you are willing to remove our center because the NBA is now a 3pt league. With that in mind, during our recent woes here is what your lineup is shooting from there:
IQ=23%
Randle=32%
Burks=31%
Obi=19%
Rose=31%

If you don't think that that 5 has been killing it more than giving it, you haven't been watching closely. Almost every time Thibs went away from this line-up in the last game, the Raps would make a 6-8 pt run. I'm sure Fornier and the rest have similar or worse stats during the recent woes.

1) We do not defend well against dribble penetration and perimeter shooting
2) Our offense is stagnant ISO ball
3) We run out of energy and get outworked by the other team
4) We do not draft well, get no superstars
5) We do not develop players well, create no superstars
6) Our free agent signings never work out, superstars either do not sign with us, or go into decline once they do
7) Opponents love playing at MSG and have career nights against us

And this crap has been going on for most of the last 20 years. Different coaches, different GMs, different players - same crap. So, for lack of any other factors to blame, I put it on NYC water. No, wait, Brooklyn is doing fine drinking the same water. Then I put the blame on Tarrytown water.

I'd rather see Kemba than EF.

Dolan is the common denominator. But to be fair, he’s been away from the media and letting these GMs run things.

Watching? Are you saying they have been our best Net difference 5 this year? Look, we can all make up lineups we think will work. But until they prove that to be the case, It's just a wild guess.
I was only pointing out the statistical deficiency in that proposed line up shooting. Fyi, Grimes would be the type I feel we should have. Guys that can shoot and high energy. I like IQ for his energy, fearless attitude but until he is a consistent shooter, he will not earn extended trust. I also like Obi's energy but again, would rather guys that can just knock down the three. As that is today's NBA.

Dolan is a piece of work, no doubt, but I wonder what is it specifically that he does to demoralize players and coaches, often to a point where they go bananas.
I do not remember when it is exactly when the ISO crap started, but do recall Ewing still being around when I was getting frustrated watching the primary offensive tactic of dumping the ball to a player while the other four cleared out to stand and watch on the other side.
