Depends on Kemba and if he can be moved to another team that will promise to play him. We did not do him dirty, we gave him an opportunity.
That we moved him out is a commitment to yoot. He was bought in to start.
1-7 since the Kemba benching
The crow tastes so good

The prize is the number 8 pick in the 2022 draft
Does anyone think there is some kind of beef between Kemba and Thibs? And that maybe that is affecting team chemistry? IS that paranoid?

Yes
And I knew Rebecca was cheating on you with someone at work - I just thought it was Clyde.
Kemba must be getting dealt Dec 15... that is the only way this makes sense. I know the team is defensively deficient with Kemba starting - however - the ball at least moves on offense. I watched last night and to be honest no idea why I didn't turn it off. The offense was pretty much unwatchable
Everyone bitches about Randle and how he plays but until he got it going for himself last night, we had nothing. I know Kemba has his shortcomings but at least we aren't asking another player to be something he is not. What's next, Mitch at PG?

FYI, Burks is shooting 39% from inside the arc for the year! Since his game against Atlanta, he is shooting 28% from the 3pt line.

I’m sure that bag of balls we are getting for Kemba will be all worth it when the Knicks miss the playoffs

And that stat includes the hawk and nets games in which be shot really well
Not only is benching Kemba killing the Knicks it’s killing Burks mojo

Meant since his game vs Atlanta.
I’m okay giving Burks a few more games to adjust.
If things don’t start looking better, I’d like to see IQ or Miles.
I’ve seen what things look like with Kemba in the starting lineup, and I don’t really want to see that again. It was hard to watch. And I’ve always preferred taller guards who can also defend. I’ll take defense over offense almost every time.
I think the respectful thing to do at this point is to trade Kemba.
I also do not blame Kemba alone for the team’s problems. EF, Kemba, and Mitch are the biggest problems, IMO. And almost everyone else to a lesser degree. And Noel’s health, although he actually looked more like himself last night.
EF’s turn to get removed from the starting lineup (team?) is next. I hope he turns it around.
I was almost 100% sure we were going to have a Kemba trade yesterday since he was eligible to be traded now. I'm guessing they aren't making any trades due to having some guys out with the covid protocols but as soon as we get them back, I expect Kemba to be traded. To completely not play him even though we're shorthanded and in need of scoring makes no sense. It only makes sense if you already have a trade in place and don't want to risk Kemba getting hurt.

Burks should start at the 3 with IQ and Kemba in the backcourt

On offense, that's a dangerous combination. On defense, that might be worst than EF and Kemba.
I rather see a 2 way player like Burks/RJ or McGrimes as the SG. RJ and Burks can both play SF and SG. So the question is who's playing point tonight and for the forseable future. My guess is Ross runs the point tonight. And if he does well, Thibs may stick with him all season. That's how Thibs role and I can't blame him. At this point, when something is working, don't fix it.
But this covid protocol really throws everything I said out the window. Whoever is available will start today. I want to see more Deuce personally, especially his playmaking or passing abilities. I know he can shoot and defend. Can he pass and beat his man off the dribble, is what I will be looking at today. I rather have Rose and McBride vs Rose and EF tonight. or give EF the quick yank, and bring in Deuce.

So does Thibs, which is why we are one of the worst offensive teams in the NBA, and just an ok defensive team.
Last night made it 100% official..kemba is gonna
