Burks was mostly on Dinwiddie. He also had a tough time stopping him.
Holiday made 6 baskets.
Our defensive rotations were not good.
But yes, Kemba's stature/defense is no secret in his NBA/college career.

Definably not on the Knicks.
People have praised Rose(well deserved) yet not exactly a defensive star.
If a team can't find a way to use a guy that has Kemba's shooting ability, something is wrong.
Kemba is not the answer to our losing. But he is not the reason.

Rose has done nothing this year. He has 2 moves on offense and is worse than Fournier on D. He’s living off the second half of last season when we traded nothing for him

teams Kemba has been on in both Charlotte and Boston have made the playoffs. Relax before you start labeling him Dennis Smith Jr the prequel

Kemba has started on a team that has went to the conference finals, the Kemba slander here is amazing.
People are actually claiming you can’t win with his style of basketball, 44, 8, 9 on 24 shots and 0 turnovers and your team loses. Those are trae young numbers.

Can you name some of the high level players he played with?
Is anyone saying Kemba is our best player?
Would we have won the game with Kemba on the bench yesterday?

Kembe on this years team with lazy declined Randle, no Bulloch, a traffic cone in Fournier and a declined Noel/RJ/Rose isn't going to help much no matter how many points he scores or how well he plays.

Kemba is not the problem, but he is not the solution. He is not to blame. In fact, for some of our guys it also holds true. The solution lies in chemistry and its beyond most of us to solve it.

Philc, you can do your Elf bit all day over and over and the funny thing is you remove him and we did not beat atlanta nor we as good with him. HE was not the problem, but I won’t go anywhere near that he was the glue or the solution. Im saying it worked with him for a good part of the season. ITs why he played so much.
We “Upgraded” in many ways but its not adding up.

Randle contract is not any where close to max.

Kemba in CHarlotte was not on very good teams and he was much younger. Nobody doubted the talent, its the ability to stay healthy and play as a starter. He is under 6 foot and has bad knee thats chronic.
Its not about his past, its the future. He played a great game on one end but it was negated by what he cannot do well and thats defend.

But Kemba Walker is a 4x All-Star over the past 5 years ala 4/5 All-Star appearances.

Dig the propaganda works and hope that his good play blends in when we are mostly healthy and are winning.
His benching was justified.
The his historical talent is not disputed. Seen this cat in Charlotte many times and a fan of his always.
But its the future. He did this in spurts last year. He looks good. Then the knee holds him back. Boston had and has its own chemistry issues. He was not the problem, and again was not the solution either.

Triple double is fun and its all good. We got the win.
Does it mean we are getting ready for a nice run? Maybe. I hope so. I can’t ignore the past that three teams gave up on him. Clt, boston and then OKC as trade vessel only. Boston had to give a no. 1 pick.
So lets not forget that. The issue coming in was could he be consistent enough thru a season. We figured he’d need games off and perhaps a week or so to reset and reduce inflamtion.

The haters don’t like to be wrong. The lovers enjoy dancing as optimists enjoying it. The end of day, or season is the aggregate and the teams record says what happened.

So Kemba is in the books with Oscar Robertson. Good for him. Good for fans, good way to kick off christmas!
