I've tried to keep a mostly positive spin to the game threads I've started, but time to face reality- this season is bordering on lost.
If we lose to Houston - and they are 7 & 3 in their last ten, a game over 500 in their home arena- then it's hard to be optimistic about the rest of the season.
My hope is this is our Tim Duncan year, where we end up in the lottery and score a big talent and then we come roaring back in 22/23.
It's hard to envision any wins right now but we might catch a break if the Rockets sit out Woods and Gordon. They got blasted last night against Cleveland and lost by 35. Hopefully we get RJ, Obi and Grimes back soon but I'd like to keep seeing Knox try to increase his trade value and see what we have in Duece.

I’ve been to games at the Toyota Center. That arena is huge it’s definitely a hard place for any road team to win
Knox can't catch a break. Whenever he gets momentum something happens to mess everything up. What also sucks is Luka has an injury so he can't even help us.

It's like some kind of Knick youngin curse. Frank would get 2-3 games showing promise then boom gets hurt. I hope this isn't the case with Knox. He doesn't look like a space cadet in his latest outings.

that is why I think these outbreaks are omnicron. Knox should have supercharged anti bodies. Plus most of our team is boosted.

I think the amount of people who are actually positive for COVID while vaccinated are higher than may be realized. The NBA players are tested regularly - daily? - and so they catch it before symptoms may appear (if they do at all).
Would be nice to begin and start a 4 game winning streak tonight and get back to .500 before our Atlanta game.

What may be more likely is that we’re missing a different set of players by then due to covid protocols.
