Knicks · Kemba. Tgis years Derrick Rose? (page 2)

Pretty crazy thibs and kemba haven’t spoken since benching… benching kemba was a big mistake by thibs, even though I like the rooks and really like McBride, kemba still can play at a very high level and carry a team through a quarter or two he’s still a offensive player in this league. Benching him messed with this team’s chemistry.

For what it's worth, still not sure that would work with Randle on the roster.

For what it’s worth Derozan will come crashing down to earth by march

I love Thibs but I don't understand his lack of respect to Kemba for not discussing the situation. Kemba deserves the respect from the head coach to sit down with him and explain this. I don't know if this is old school or what but its BS.

Whose to say none of this has taken place. Neither are really talking. There's to many gaps in this to even attempt reading between the lines.

Knicks need to trade Kemba and try to get a late first rounder for him.

Disagree. DeRozan is exactly what I like in a closer. Goes to the rim, draws fouls and not afraid of the pressure.

Yeah, but he operates in the same area as Randle and then we'd have to hear reports about how they need more time mesh and blah, blah, blah. The reason it works in Chicago is that Zach is really efficient perimeter scorer and Lonzo isn't ball dominat and get passive in the halfcourt.

Yes, this year's Kemba is like Derrick Rose. Like his FIRST stint as a Knick was, lol. Bam

Possibly. Feel DeMar starts on the arc whereas Randle is better at the post though. But we will never know. Still think we have good pieces. Just missing the one piece to bring it all together. And for guys to play at the level they have in the past.

He’s also on the bulls so he’s getting calls like it’s going out of style. Randle is driving to the basket with guys all over him like an ugly suit and he can’t get calls

They already tried. There were no takers though if Kemba continues to play and plays well with all the covid stuff maybe a GM gets desperate
