So true. He is not good and not an amazing locker room guy. So I am failing to see why he is on the team.

Not going to get worked up one way or the other on Dotson here. 10 day flyer -- we need the bodies. Seems to have some talent and can play at the pro level but has some nonspecific douchebag history. Maybe he's grown up a little and, who knows, even improved his game.

RE: Selden - was something said to indicate he's not a great locker room guy? Still wish we kept Theo, but Thibs had was pretty complimentary of Wayne's practices/role when he made the team.

“Well, he’d been here all summer and been here in the fall and then training camp and just [brings] a lot of the intangibles,” Thibodeau said after Sunday’s practice.

“[Wayne] got experience. He’s played in the league and he’s a great practice player. That’s what we’re looking for — someone who could move the group forward. He’s been terrific in practice and we felt like it’s another wing and it’s a wing-driven league.”

“He will do anything that you ask him to do. Basically, his practices are his games,” Thibodeau said, “and so when you have guys like that, it helps everyone move forward and brings the best out of his teammates. So that’s important to us.”

This is all my opinions but I seen enough of him in summer league. On the locker room guy part, I am not saying he is a bad locker room guy but he is not Theo. So my logic is if he is not a prospect or not good enough to contribute right now then why take him over Theo who we know is an amazing locker room guy that everyone loved last year. In the grand scheme of things none of it matters because these are the end of the bench guys but you can't go wrong with a guy in the locker room that brings everyone together.

Your logic should be more like this: Thibs and the FO chose Seldon OVER Theo because of all the things they saw from Seldon despite of what you saw from the bench from Theo and the few sparse media reports. There is usually good reason when we are talking about a roster spot. That should be your starting point.

And not for nothing, but maybe Theo chose a different opportunity cause he knew his role with Knicks was only going to be cheerleader.
