All I want for Christmas is for our younger kids to play.
This would have been the game of the year if both teams were playing better. Now it is just a regular game. We need the win and we should have RJ back. Hopefully, RJ can hit his 3s this game. When RJ is on, we usually win.
I hope they are out of Covid tests.
Nerfed Trae doesn't get under my skin like he did last year.
I could be wrong, but I also don't see them as contenders any more. I think their window came and went.
So with or without Trae, today's game is a battle of mediocrity.

Hoping for the best but expecting the worst tbh. Can't trust this year's team. They are the epitome of inconsistency and mediocrity. Even without Trae, we can't overlook them. It's a nationally televised game at MSG. They will be ready to play. They actually just beat a healthy Philly team with Embiid.
Beating a dead horse but it starts with Randle. If he continues to play and act like he doesn't want be out there, we aren't winning. And the defense needs to be a lot better too.

Thibs and his inability to try anything new. Exception being benching Kemba but he should not have outright benched him but instead brought him off the bench. This is the same exact lineup that was the worst in NBA history. If they don't finish this game with a positive plus/minus against the G league Hawks there is no saving them and Thibs will eventually get fired for being too stubborn.

And I couldn't care less about his FG% today. He hasn't played in a while and may need to shake off some rust.
But I'm super excited to see R.J.'s DEFENSE and energy out there on the perimeter!

R.J. is back and we've never seen this starting 5 with KEMBA WALKER playing so confident and ON FIRE!
It took a good 20+ games for Kemba to gain his NY confidence but these last 3 games? He's been on a mission.
Coach Thibs benching him lit a fire under his ass. He realized he wasn't being as AGGRESSIVE as a starting PG should be. But now? He's freaking ATTACKING and we're loving it.
The player Thibs needs to bench is Evan Fournier and rock with Grimes for his DEFENSE.
I'm excited for this starting 5 (outside of EF) and can't wait to see how we look with R.J. back while Kemba is playing CONFIDENT.
PS: THIS D-LEAGUE ATL TEAM JUST UPSET PHILADELPHIA AND BECAUSE OF COVID OUR KNICKS HAVE BEEN PLAYING D-LEAGUE PLAYERS TOO (fair is fair).
