i met oak a few times - every one of them was a day-drinking situation. he was funny as hell and nice as hell. every time he was cited for being a d*ck seemed to be at night. seems the issue was starting early and ending late

This is an awesome NYC basketball community here on UK and I hope one day we get to celebrate an NYK championship together.

Living down here in Florida since my HS days there aren't too many NY fans to talk Knicks basketball with so a lot of times when you guys ball bust me, it makes me feel like a kid back home in Queens. And I appreciate you all for that.

I honestly cannot rank who I like in an order with this roster. I support everyone pretty equally, except Knox (can't stand this draft bust!), and Fournier is getting close to that Bargnani level of dislike for me. I will say I've enjoyed watching Grimes, IQ and Obi the most this season. And obviously Randle and RJ WHEN they play to their potential.

All-time favorites are easier ...

1. Ewing - Number one for me easily! He made me a Knicks fan!
2. Sprewell - Loved how aggressive and angry he played!
3. Starks - All the kids in school wanted to be MJ, I wanted to be Starks and fight everyone!
4. Harper - Loved how he defended and the attitude he played with!
5. LJ - Always loved Grandmama and he was my favorite non-Knick player when he was with the Hornets so I was over the moon happy when we traded for him, even though I loved Mase (RIP)!

Appreciate Houston, Camby, Melo, Amar'e (in 2010) and what Linsanity did.

Used to adore Oak but his actions and words the last few years changed my mind. Especially what he says about Ewing. But loved him when he played and he could've easily made my top 5.

I will admit the best player we've had that I absolutely disliked with a passion with Marbury.

And I was the one who invented the Homer, Centrist and Hater UK labels! Not that anyone paid attention. My Mooby fixation was more an overreaction to the revisionist history or outright BS of people who tried to make Melo into the AntiKnickhrist, or who posted jock licking savior drivel about Lin or people like Paul Pierce.

You come from a good place and you put the work in. I might not agree with you but at least you look things up. I go after lazy posters who make shit up pretending they have facts. I have no issue with most opinions but when bullshyt is presented as a fact I take it on.

I don’t have “favorites”. If I do, I don’t “rank them”. No sense to it.
I rooted hard for Frank because his defense was so good I wanted to see him fill out and become a star player on both ends. Defense takes effort and saavy. That he was so young when drafted was why he had so much rope from some. KP I hoped was the unicorn. Rooting hard does not make them Pet favorites. I just can’t sit here and rank them.

Agenda? Cowardice? Im not sure I get that. I root for the team success and allow any player to win me over. My agenda is truth and objectivity as much as any fan can be. I won’t root against EF because poor play lowers his trade value as an asset. I want all the assets to rise on and off the court.

I did not enjoy JR Smith, Little Crack head Nate other than the entertainment factor. Ephedra arrhythmia Eddy, and Jerome James as they lacked heart. Marbury really got under my skin.
I did not like the Melo trade but had no issue with him and the effort he gave until he gave up on himself at the end and it was just time to move on. He proved not worthy in OKC and Hou but was happy he came back in portland. Likable player.

My agenda is pro Thibs and wish Randle to get back some of where he was last year. Not as far as one might think. As for being a coward? I find no bravery in your defending Randle and your relentless spasms to boast his popularity. You’ll see no hate from me on him. IM a big fan and a bigger fan of JR. I don’t now his future and me talking him up does not elevate his play.
