Knicks · Porzingis, Brunson & Bullock for Randle, Fournier, Kemba & Mitch would work for me… (page 1)

TLover @ 1/27/2022 2:04 PM
Many people still have much hate for KP but he is exactly what we are looking for in a stretch 5 who can protect the paint and give Obi room down low. Seems to be fully healthy now. Randle is from Dallas and would be a much better #2 to Luca.

Mitch is the toughest to give up in this scenario but is a free agent (so is Brunson) and KP would be taking his spot.

Pg: Brunson

Sf: Reddish
Pf: Obi

Ha, I joked about this a week or two ago- ironically, KP would probably be a better fit for us now than Randle (plus isn't Randle from Dallas, so maybe he turns up there with a better attitude). Who could bring themselves to pretend to welcome back KP though 😂
jskinny35 @ 1/27/2022 2:37 PM
I would actually consider this is if Janus was fired and we took out insurance on KP's contract. Regardless, it would never happen...
Nalod @ 1/27/2022 2:44 PM
Why would anyone want to come here when we turn rabid on them after half a season?
We really want KP back after all that?
jskinny35 @ 1/27/2022 2:53 PM
He shouldn't and he wouldn't - but it's a business and if Cuban wants to get rid of KP's contract... we're probably #1 on his work speeddial :)
martin @ 1/27/2022 2:57 PM
Cuban looking at Knicks starting lineup and is like "I gotta have 4 out of 5 guys from that lineup, maybe let them keep RJ?"
KnickDanger @ 1/27/2022 3:05 PM
I hope we win a game soon just to stop this s#!t.

Funny and you made your point, but Dallas did lose Hardaway to injury and EF would replace him. Randle would make a great 2nd fiddle to Luca. Mitch is Mitch with his interior D. Kemba would be great on their 2nd unit to replace Brunson.

Not that unreasonable

KP is never playing in NY again. That bridge was burnt, blown up, and run through a wood chipper.
jrodmc @ 1/27/2022 4:33 PM
Yessir, that's what we need to replace our three-headed project center: a maxed out, pencil-legged prima donna with no lateral movement who's team wins more without him.

And just think, we'd get Janus back too!

God, please let us start winning again so we can stop these idiotic trade threads...

blkexec @ 1/27/2022 4:44 PM
Bring KP back and destroy his value, like we do for most players who think they are superstars. That was the plan all along?

I tell you one thing, the knicks have been a comical broadway show for years. Can't say they haven't entertained us. Every day i'm on hoopshype just waiting for the next blockbuster trade. What a joke. I don't know how you can be a season ticket holder all these years. I don't even think they deserve anybody to pay NBA game pass. Which is why I've been streaming for years. The only thing I wish I could get back is time.

What a joke. Gotta laugh so they dont see you cry.

I’d rather jump off the Verrazano bridge during an ice storm than watch Porzingis come back to ny

Dolan is insanely loyal to a fault and he also knows how to hold a grudge. No doubt he has zero interest in KP even if that’s our way to get Brunson

Soon.

Any day now.

KP is a borderline all star this season..and Brunson would be the best point guard we’ve had in years.

Holding a grudge against KP is not smart; he had an ACL surgery which he is fully recovered from. It not like a micro fracture surgery

Toss a trade idea out there but don't fall in love with it.

After last season, no way am I trading that potential ceiling of Randle for the injury risk that is KP. Plus attitude. KP just sucks, at least Randle cares about winning.

If you want Brunson so bad there are a lot better trades to fantasize about.

Look I was the biggest Randle supporter after his first season with the Knicks; but as Van Grundy said the lack of effort cannot be tolerated. Randle has immense talent but he is not a winning player for us; for whatever reason.

People on here stupidly hold grudges instead of thinking rationally.
Mavs would probably not make the trade anyway.
