U would have turned down cleanthony???

Don't you think they're have been enough shots taken at Cleanthony?

Can’t believe you pulled the trigger on that joke.

He's always been such an easy target

ESOMKnicks wrote:I would not mind a tank and us keeping the same roster for the remainder of the season, barring an opportunity to trade for a legit superstar. We are not winning the chip this season, it is plain obvious, and the rest is semantics: make the playoffs, miss the playoffs, who cares. I actually think that having the playoff pressure off will let Randle reset mentally, go back to fundamentals and get his mojo back. And getting a hopefully good player in the lottery might be a nice bonus.

This is where I am. Let’s hope we miss the play offs, and then on the lottery, we move up for a change and we get a real talent that can make an impact, hopefully a PG.

And then next year, things come together, Randle gets over whatever is ailing him (?) and we start winning again.

As any other team this would be a legit strategy. However, the Knicks don't ever move up in the lottery. With our trash luck to match our trash skill level we are always picking after the difference makers are gone. We have never move up in the draft lottery in my whole lifetime.

Sometimes you have to take a step back to make a leap forward. Especially after last year's Pyrrhic run to the playoffs.

There is no such thing as trash luck. Lottery outcomes have been well within statistical probabilities.

whether we move up or not, I think we can rely on the front office to find good talent wherever we pick.

But, I will give you that the chance of us moving up is very slim.

We are right in the play-in mix. Tanking would be horrific for the team. I’d probably even start to want Leon Rose and Thibs to be fired if we began tanking. How about giving RJ a chance to possibly lead the Knicks into a play-in spot and maybe even help us win that?

I haven’t seen many prospects who impress me.

I like Walker Kessler a lot, he’s exactly the type of center we need to replace Mitch, and he looks projected for late lottery.

Tanking is for fools and pu**ies.
Philc1 @ 1/31/2022 9:59 AM
Tank for be what? There’s no Ja Morant or even Karl Anthony Towns this year

We’re probably picking 8th again for the 29th year in a row. Take Kennedy Chandler who will be there
