Knicks · How about Randle and Reddish and 2 number 2s for wood kJ martin and Gordon (page 1)

I think thibs can go a lot with those players even got this year. Immediately our defense were I’ll bring much better. We’re not getting perfect but we aren’t giving up perfect
Edit. Throw in kemba for salaries to work

I was interested in Woods back before we signed Randle but the more that time has passed - the less appealing Woods is to me. Despite his exceptional athleticism/talent - he doesn't seen to have matured and I think Thibs would hate coaching him. Whoever comes to NY in a Randle trade has to be solid/professional IMO. We would be turning the team over somewhat to RJ and the younger players and Wood is just talented enough to be trouble as it doesn't seem like he possesses the necessary discipline needed to lead a young roster. He'd probably turn into a star on a team like SA though.

I’m a fan of woods the player. I might put him at 5 here and have Robinson back him up or even slot them together ( nasty) I’m not asking woods to be a leader. That’s up to rj etc… just play your best. Eric Gordon to me would replace the shtty Alec Burks day 1 and kJ martin ca slot back up 2-3-4. I understand that woods is not the fairest thinker but so have a lot of nba players. Not asking him to lead asking him to help us win.
I think we could salvage this season as well

Yep - his talent is unquestioned. He almost seems like he could replace Mitch as well and you could play Toppin next to him. There would be better ball movement since he is mobile, can shoot outside and can cover a lot of ground quickly. We would still need a decent PG but maybe Mitch could be packaged/moved for one (eg Brunson deal)? Still think Thibs would hate him but warming back up to this as a possibility. I'd want to hold onto Reddish to at least see what he can offer though.

I 100% agree I’d play him at 5. Gives us upturns at 4 including obi AND we could at times skit woods at 4 and play him with a center. I’d love to do Tgis trade I don’t think it’s all far fetched either.

No, I saw Woods stats after his first 2 games in the league, and that's all I need to evaluate a player

Makes o sense? He’s a borderline all star who plays good d.
I’d love to trade for woods. I think Bobby marks suggested too. It would give us an offensive 5 and we can be much more creative with roster. In some rotations u can use two 7 footers. Eric Gordon could replace the very inconsistent Butcks

No, you can gather everything you need to know about a player after their first two games in the league- actually sometimes just from preseason- what player has honestly ever improved?

Would rather have Wood at the 5. Maybe we can entice them with another set of players that would keep Randle here. Keep saying Randle would be better if we had a Center that spread the floor a bit and a better PG
