congrats you finally figured it out that its a snooze fest. All star games suck because its irrelevant. Back in the day only road games were televised. There was one national game on TV. So unless you went to the games you did not have the exposure you have to day. there are like 6 national games a week? 5? League pass/MSG I can see every knick game? League pass I can see all games!!!
Thus seeing “Stars” in one game you rarely saw was awesome. To see Wilt Chamberlin on tV was not easy if out of market. To see him vs. kareem was a big deal an a draw on a national game. An allstar game put them and many others on one court and it was a treat.
All star games suck.
Obi going to come out with the best dunk of the context in round 1.

When I was a kid the nba and mlb all star games were huge events. Now that I’m older I couldn’t care less

Same - All-Star games are for the kids and teens who are just getting into the sport imo. I might catch the dunk contest but I could care less if Obi wins. I'm more concerned that he doesn't get hurt trying something crazy.
