If he is then….. oh f’ing boy Thibs. I’ll be done with him.
Well look on the bright side Thibs now gets to play Fournier 45 minutes per game

This reminds of when Bill Belichick got Rob Gronkowski seriously injured by making him block on special teams on a field goal attempt
I once loved coach Thibs but not anymore.
Him playing both Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier as the worst Defensive Backcourt within NBA history was enough for me to not even care anymore if he gets fired tomorrow.
Playing R.J. Barrett in garbage time was criminal.
Keep in mind down 13 with less than a minute left in the game
Is Grimes going to be back by Saturday because that is like the only winnable game we have coming up
Otherwise start Burks/IQ at SG and have McBride and Kemba platoon at PG
I guess this is why I wasn’t crazy about Thibs being the coach.
Last year was great- he was a magician, pulled a rabbit from the hat. But there was one rabbit only in that hat.
Now, we’re all sitting around wondering what is the next trick.
I’m having a hard time understanding why we shouldn’t fire Thibs.
Will different coach get more wins out of the team? Maybe, if we’re honest. The line up choices have been suspect. The apparent lack of accountability directed to Randle is #1 that could impact the team.
Not trying to put some energy guys into the starting line up from the bench.
But I would hope a different coach might try playing some of the young guys, might try EF in the 2nd unit, wouldn’t knee jerk Kemba from starter to non-player, instead try Rose as the starter and Kemba off the bench.

I wanted Kenny Atkinson to help develop our young players with a full rebuild. I had to eat my words because Thibs was so amazing last year. This year he seemingly can't do anything right.
I will never understand why Thibs does that. I can understand leaving your starters in there if the game is winnable but come on, down 15 with under a minute to go? Just beyond careless and stupid! I love Thibs and have no intension of wanting to fire him but he has not had a great season.
A bit annoying they haven’t said what is wrong yet

I don’t love him because his major flaw is short term thinking snd that type of thinking is arguably what has led the Knicks to being Crap this season.

He sprained his ankle most likely.
He stepped on someonss foot. Could happen in the 1st quarter. Some dude puts a tweet out and its Knives out?
Denver put their stars back in a few minutes earlier.
Hindsight pile on.
Losing sucks.

They put them in because the Knicks bench started to chip away on the lead against the nuggets bench. The negligence is Thibs had played them heavy the night before against Utah and this game should have been seen as a L when the Nuggets score 81 points in the half. Thibs outthib’d himself again and it gained nothing but RJ hopefully only spring his ankle, since the FO hates to tell the fans the levels of injuries guys have.
Thibs is getting outcoached damn near every night with his Hockey substitutions and abundance of minutes for vets who would be on the benches for good teams.

I thought our bench was gassed and IQ/OBI were trading baskets when the lead got down.
I won’t defend Thibs as the record is what it is. Team started great and the second quarter was bloody awful. Our Bench got the snot beaten out of them. We had our two centers our and Kemba was dog meat again. EF looked geat then tailed off. Denver’s records speaks to their ability and they are good.
Well, I understand RJ couldve stepped on someones foot in the 1st quarter, I get it. But it happened with seconds left in a blow out. Plus Thibs has a long history of over playing this vets and refusal to remove his starters when the game is out of reach. Thats been part of Thibs for years. What I didn't expect was Thibs appears to get out coach after half time and during game changes or lack there of.
Thibs is old school, stubborn and doesn't appear to make a lot of in game changes. New age coaches are more adaptable during games. I could be wrong, but thats my perception based on what I've heard about Thibs and what I've seen so far since Thibs arrival.
Regardless of what the injury is RJ needs to sit out the next game @Warriors

Let’s see what cam does with minutes now. I know he can get hot because of his 30 plus game b4 he was traded. I see the potential but right now knox has a better 3 pt game. I need to see cam defense and impact on the game outside of shooting 3s.

Cam shooting 36.4% from 3point land this year. Knox, not so much.
