Someone on Reddit posted this question and its a good one. My wife and I are going to a game in the Spring (gifted tickets).

Suggestions. I haven't been in the city for a couple of years now.

Too pricy. Here you go…

After the game you’ll be getting that super hot frugality sex.

I have been to many games in my life, but in-stadium food was always outside my price range

where I go wildly throughout the years, but go get some Korean BBQ - you can walk from NYP. I am sure someone else can tell you which specific spot is best, but for this suburban Maryland white dude every single restaurant is divine

if you want to be a tourist, Katz's Deli is a pretty straight shot cab ride... I do that when I need my Maury Amsterdam Sandwich

Prime Rib or Daily Burger in the garden.

Don’t eat at the garden. Take the train and hit up mulberry st before the game there’s Umbertos, La Mela, bakeries and a bunch of great Chinese restaurants

Either you have a great NY food experience or eat $17 hot dogs at the Garden

Which you can get 2 or 3 whole packs of those exact brand hot dogs for the same price.

I would agree. Maybe take a flight to Italy instead though. Hear that with covid the restaurants have low wait times. The Pasta Fagioli...to die for.

Mike's Fried Chicken. If you are looking to eat prior just go to nearby KoreaTown. (Antoya)

Korea town has excellent BBQ and it's near MSG, around 31st St. iirc

The price of food at sporting events is ridiculous. I took a family of 4 to Knicks pacers game at Bank North it cost me $85 - and that was nothing but hot dogs, sodas and one beer

I used to love going to 'Gyro II' but since it's closed I mostly just go to Stout before and after the game. Their wings and burgers are pretty good!

Everything is SUPER expensive at the Garden but I can never pass up their popcorn!

I got food poisoning from the Carnegie Deli on the 2nd floor at the Garden. Pastrami sandwich
