Man, impressed with Jericho.

Randle, Fournier, RJ all making boneheaded plays late.

A good/bad loss. Bad that playoff chances are fading way, good that play is looking more cohesive and Sims is playing well. Stronger point guard play and this is winnable.

Good try. Hate KD but he killed us. Nothing you can really do when he's hot like that. Good idea to double him with Sims but he's too good and we lost him a couple of times. Turnovers and empty possessions in the 4th continue to kill us. We'd win a fair share of these games with Rose imo.

14 more to go.

Jericho Sims was a +20 in this game with 23 minutes

Like the other kids he should have been given an opportunity from the beginning. Taj is nice and will have nice games but there are some things Sims can do that no one else besides maybe Mitch can do.

Saw on another forum some one say the people who missed this game for the nets would have been more talented of a team than we have had for years and I got real sad. The fact that this is possibly true and then you add KD to that and you realize just how far from being a contender we are.

last two losses were tough but the team plays hard. How many years did we watch guys who didnt defend or play hard. Before we ditch Thibs lets remember that much. I thought we would win more but Im still happy with a lot of the progress. I like our young guys and its been a tough year but Im starting to think its not going to be a lost year if some of these lumps result in a young hungry squad next year. Being this close is good. Keeps these guys hungry and working and playing hard and thats the foundation of good culture.

Simms looked great, IQ missed everything... whatever. They are playing hard

Playing hard is a means to an end. The end being winning games. Thibs bringing in Taj when Sims was playing very well partially lost us this game. 3 off rebounds in a row causing the nets to score 6 pts all because he has to go Vets even when the young are doing well.

Randle basketball IQ is questionable at best

It's not very high for sure, he shows us this over and over and over

So giving up 6 straight easy points by having Taj get abused on the boards has no bearing on a close game? Interesting. Lets look Taj = -6 in 1min 40 seconds. I wonder why he only got that much time. Because he was getting abused. Sims should have been in instead of Taj but our coach defaults to vets before youth no matter what. Without those easy scores maybe we pull this game out. We don't have the talent level that gives us much room for error. That quick 6pt swing hurts us because we struggle for every point we score.

On the last play. We needed a 3 and he runs under the 3 pt line to catch the ball. 🤦
