Knicks get a hard nose PG'ish starter, he still gets backed up by Rose/IQ. Knicks get a C to go with Noel, Jericho; Plumlee only has 1 year on deal left.
CHO gets off of 4 years at $23M to make roon for backcourt of LaMelo/Bouknight. Hornets get another uber dunker to catch passes by LaMelo. They get to make a Coming Home video for Kemba and another PG backup.

I like Rozier, but I don't trust headlining an offense alongside Randle. Rozier has always been more effective off all, first with Graham and now with Ball.

I don't watch Rozier at all but he seems more like an alpha dude who can at least take the ball out of Randle's hands but I get what you are saying. And he goes full out ala Marcus Smart.
Do the Knicks HAVE a PG that you can see headlining an offense alongside Randle? This year or next?
Trade Deuce McBride??? Before he even gets a sniff at becoming the full 57 page thread Frankie replacement?
I don't understand these trade ideas including Kemba. Please consult the mirror test. We may have to include a 1st rounder to Adam Silver just to dump his contract.
Leon: "Hey, Hey, Hey, I've got a 55 point PG who's now got really fresh rested legs for sale..."
Any other Franchise FO: "You mean the same guy Thibs benched for... Alec Burks?"
Leon: "I can throw in a barely used 5 who's only really played one full season or so while setting all sorts of Chamberlain-type records..."
Any other Franchise FO: "What else you got?"
Leon: "2nd rounder PG who's tearing up the GLeague with a really cool nickname..."
Any other Franchise FO: >Click<

Quite frankly Kemba is just there to make salaries work. McBride gets them a viable long term backup at PG.
Rozier doesn't excite me. Neither does Brunson for that matter, but if we're pitching a Mitch sign and trade for a point, I'd probably opt for Brunson.
The only guy on CHA I'm interested in is Miles Bridges, but it looks like he's been playing himself well out of being available.

Rozier and D Rose are similar to me. Rozier is just younger. He's an upgrade over Burks, but does he move the needle any further than Rose / IQ with Deuce as the backup? Guess this is really a question for Martin.
I'm a Rozier fan as a player. I'm not sure about his impact on the team or with team wins. He takes and hits big shots, that gets him highlight reels on ESPN. He has that Deuce mentality to me, who's not afraid of the moment or matchup. But I can say the same about Rose and the up and coming IQ, mixed in with a little Deuce.
Trading Deuce before he becomes 57pages like Frank? That's a good one. But not sure why people are saying that. There's really only a few Deuce fans on this very site. The reason why his Release the Deuce page is so long, is because I'm purposely revising it. I could've let it go and it would've been buried. I just didn't feel like creating multiple Deuce threads. Frank was a top 10 pick. That comes with lots of controversy. Deuce was picked in the second round (lol). What about Sims or IQ. I love those guys too. Are they the next Frank, if we only have 1 thread for each. lol. Frank is in it's own category, along with the other guys we created long threads about and they not even in the league anymore. That's what UK fans do. We overrate our draft picks.

To me, Mitch is better than Plumlee. Or should say, Mitch has a higher ceiling than Plumlee.
Rozier vs Rose seems redundant. If we didn't have IQ in training, I would understand.
Outside of adding a bonifide star on CP3 level or close, whats the point? Might as well hope for Rose health (since he missed most of the season) and IQ's development. If we cant get a great player at PG, I rather get an up and coming player or continue to develop IQ. We not winning a chip next season with OR without CP3. Might as well continue the development train. Every time we bring in so called veteran (who's not a Thibs player), their impact is not as high as we thought (Rose is an exception due to his relationship and willingness to play hard for Thibs).
Just seems like a neutral move just to say the FO did something. After what they did with adding Kemba and EF, I'm not sure about any deals they make outside of a bonifide star. Where they have shined to me, is during draft time and avoiding lopsided deals not in our favor. I believe they have done great in that area. As much as we don't like Kemba and EF, both are or with EF can be traded in the near future. EF has some value around the league, even at his current contract. He can score 30-40 on any given night, on the right team and in the right system. That's a threat most teams would love to have.
I don't mind trading Deuce. I believe we can find another hard nosed PG in the second league, who's known for just defense. So Deuce (as much as I love him) is expendable for the right trade. I don't agree that this is the right trade. I have a lot of faith in Rose / IQ running Thibs system. What are we doing at Center is my question. I rather have Mitch over Plumlee (at a reasonable price), but that's just me.

So again, I don't watch Rozier much he is a defensive player. Scores about 20 a game with very good 3p shooting. And if he is kinda like Rose as a PG... the Rose who DID move the needle for the Knicks, that would be huge, no?

Brunson would be the answer. I understand that there aren't many pure playmakers at the guard position right now, but there is still a balance and Rozier's decision making can be damn right atrocious. His name is Scary Terry for crissakes 😏 He doesn't turn the ball over much, so he's got that I guess.

I’d rather trade for Dinwiddie after Cuban resigns Jalen Brunson. Cuban for whatever reason loves our players
