This has been talked about en mass for weeks now. I think we might have to sweeten the pot some for that but thats ok if Brunson really can unleash/enhance others.
I have to assume Nolens can heal to some extend and Simms can still improve. Draft a center and let it grow from their. I like the idea.
it sucks. Just keep using the draft and resign Mitch. Retain your talent. Add new talent. Develop the talent you have. This is how you get better.
Trading talent for a stop gap midget PG is not how you get better. I would rather go at it with Rose/Quickley/McBride as the top of the PG rotation. Sounds like the EU kid is a couple years away but remains a really good prospect. Use the draft. Watch for late bloomers.
Only an injury will make Mitch hard to trade. Tons of teams need rim protection. Lock him up.
Look at how good our draft looks in Grimes/McBride/Sims. Maybe none are stars but all can contribute, play both ends and help the roster. Just keep adding these guys. Eventually some will pop or we will trade 4 of them and some FRPs for Donovan. We can talk about it when that happens, but Brunson is NOT the guy. Keep looking.
If Brunson grows 3 inches in the off-season I say we go after him.

height, wingspan and vert... he needs the trifecta upgrade
Because of the complicated rules of sign and trades, I don’t a deal would work unless they are traded for each other in 2 individual trades. There’s some funky stuff in there, but I’m sure it’s possible. I can absolutely see the knicks drafting Duren and pairing with Sims as the future of the position.

How tall is chris paul?
What’s his wingspan?
When’s the last time I’ve seen him dunk?
Eldrid Payton is tall long and jumpy
Jalen is a solid pro nba pg
We want Brunson so we can hate him.

seriously, Brunson is a scrub, and would suck here. F Brunson, seriously. Please, stop it already.
Draft a PG already
I wanted FVV and he would have been great money to have invested in to fix our PG problems. I like Brunson too, but I don’t know that I feel the same way. He seems just a tad level below FVV.

My thoughts too. I want Brunson for the same reasons I wanted FVV. He’s just not quite the same player. But he’s the second best player on a good team and that counts for something.

Jalen is a solid choice for the right money. But his height and my opinion of his defensive impact drop him down a few notches in my book.
PG > Center
Dream scenario is adding Randle to Dallas in a 3 team where we get a PF in return.
I’d rather keep Mitch with a 5 year deal and offer Cuban Burks/Rose and a future pick for Dinwiddie

We need both a veteran starting pg and a pg in the draft
The dream is somehow Silver grows a brain and rigs the draft so we get the 3 pick and Ivey
