Seems like Randle is not happy with the shift in the offense. He wants the offense to continue to flow through him. That probably explains his attitude all season. I think big changes are coming to the knicks in the offseason starting with Mitch walking. Maybe a possible scenario is a trade with the mavs for Bronson-Mitch.
Is there a trade to be made for Randle for a quality starting center and draft picks? Or a quality starting center for Randle and off loading Fournier in the deal?
The past few games show that given the opportunity, Obi can be a nice starting PF in a good team making Randle expendable.
Honestly the we likely just get a straight salary dump but I think it isn’t unreasonable to expect a non lottery 1st pick.

I've been exploring trade scenarios since last season but the reality is his value has decreased significantly. We have glaring needs at PG, C if we let Mitch walk and PF if we move Randle. So while it may be best player available, I think the move is better served if we go for future picks/young talent and send Randle to a contender as he would probably flourish as a 3rd option elsewhere. I'd easily look at GS if they would part with Wiseman (injured) and/or Kuminga. I'd also roll the dice on a Randle for Zion deal if it was reasonable. I don't think the Mavs can offer anything Center-wise but if there was a deal where we could keep Mitch and land Brunson (and others) for Randle - that may work best. We would need a 3rd team otherwise if dealing with the Mavs.
Last season I thought Randle was my man. This season I feel betrayed. Seriously he can f$ck off for all I care with that attitude of his. That stuff is not how you build a championship. Get lost man, for real
I think Randle for Turner works. I don't think I would've accepted that before this year but yes I would make that trade today
The absolute ideal return would be a player who has yet to reach another level under Thibs. That's all. A straight up trade for Turner might not work but I think that it might actually be fair for both teams
So if Indy were to accept and we tried a sign and trade for Brunson (using Mitch) - we would have this for starting lineup next season. Going on what I think Thibs would start (not my preference).

Not interested in a salary dump. Rebuild his value. The pie in the sky is Randle and multiple picks for Zion and nance this summer if New Orleans gets their back against the wall. But figure out what went wrong this year and try to fix it. A salary dump is bad business. The question is why does he want a trade if that’s the case ? What changed ? The fans in the seat are the only thing I see. Kemba is gone so the system is sort of back to what it was. So to him what happened between last year and this year. Is it just the fans being back ?

Randle's contract is not a bad contract at all and is tradeable. He took a step back this season but is still a productive player. It seems highly possible he suffers from "Big Apple Disease" -- not the first player who couldn't take the New York Hate (the Yankees famously sign these guys -- think Ed Whitson, Kenny Rogers, Sonny Gray). There should be a smaller market team that sees him as a bargain. What you would get back is hard to say, but it wouldn't be nothing.

Randle is still the best player in both those trades. Why are you giving out picks like lollipops? Glad you're not the GM.

The Pacers i think were asking 2 1st rounds for Turner, maybe giving them 1 will start the ball rolling. Poole seems like a very productive player, im not sure if GS will be willing to part with any of those young players unless there are picks. If we can get Wiseman and poole for Randle and Noel, id be happy with that!

This is where my head is. Need to do more to make salaries match.
Also interested in a Zion/Randle based trade with other consideration changing hands, of course, but not really sure that we can get that done.

Bledsoe only has $4M guaranteed for next season, so yeah, put him out to pasture

Wow! I was thinking about this exact trade scenario, except I don't think we can get both picks. I think Bledsoe and a swap of our pick and the worse of their 2 lotto picks. Maybe we can get them to add a young player like Elijah Hughes in the deal. Outside of this deal, I doubt we will be to get a lotto pick in return for Randle. The next best thing to do is target a young player with potential that isn't getting much playing time in his current situation.
he should see a shrink. Maybe he has a legit personality disorder like bipolar or something. I don't understand the change. For as limiting as Thibs might be on the offensive side of the ball, if he can't thrive here in a team offense, what hope does he have anywhere else?

For me it’s thibs inability to hold Randle accountable or so it seems from a fans perspective. If true then he needs to go. Thibs can’t continue to cover for him and baby him. Flow the offense through him and he’s still going to be Randle. Contract year disguised the real Randle.
