Does this mean we wouldn’t want them as not the thibs shot blocking center? Their positional defense ( both of them is good) and they give great offensive yield. Instead of a run protector wouod a two way center who can be more flexible be smarter?

I like Mitch and am partial to defensively-minded centers. That said, if he's wanting a larger payday than we are comfortable with and Phx is not interested in offering a lot for Ayton... I would try for some offer involving a resigned Mitch + Randle + Dallas 1st for Ayton + Cam Johnson(or Cam Payne) + Saric. I'd prefer to just resign Mitch but if he's departing - I think Ayton could make sense if a reasonable deal could be had. Ayton seems like he would fit well next to Toppin or another player that isn't ball dominant and isn't tied to the paint.
