I do as a prospect. But Kennedy Chandler is clearly the better PG. The size issues does kill his stock, tho.

He's literally 1 inch shorter than Donovan Mitchell

Donovan is much stockier and has longer wingspan. Chandler has 6'5" wingspan and Mitchell has a 6'20" wingspan. Also, Mitchell is a more explosive athlete.

6'10 wingspan. and an 8'1" standing reach. Its ridiculous.

https://www.nba.com/stats/draft/combine-...

Isiah Thomas wingspan - 6’2
Kemba Walker wingspan-6’4
Chris Paul wingspan - 6’4
Kyrie Irving wingspan - 6’4
Steph Curry wingspan - 6’4
Kennedy Chandler wingspan - 6’5

Ok, so we have two bonafide HOFers, a borderline HOFer, two All Stars and a guy who clearly doesn't belong on that list.

Yeah. Why we talking about Kemba?

This article implies that Kennedy has a wingspan of 6'7 and not 6'5. I think the difference between height and wingspan is actually more important that just overall wingspan. I think that longer arms are more deceiving in terms of ability to clog lanes and get hands on the ball. Both the 6'5 and the 6'7 (either is very good) make me more excited about him. Though at that height I still would expect a bit more athleticism to truly excel.

Chandler is the fastest player in this draft

Interesting article looking at the success rates of prospects who try to improve their 3 point shooting after the enter the league. Goes w/o saying...but the odds are against them.

I don't know what to think except that the NBA game is filled with faster bigger athletes and if you were coasting in college, that ride ends - am I wrong to think you need to focus on the bigger faster players because the hope is they have upside?

Yeah, but which big athletic players do you focus on? Could mean the difference between a Trevor Ariza or a MKG.

All mentioned were/are incredible shooters.
Why pick a kid that is not a top rated PG?
Pick best available or trade the 11 for a couple of later picks. Which is what I think this FO has shown to prefer.
