Im going to use the collective mocks to fill out 1-10 then youre up. You cannot use a player who went 1-10 BUT You're allowed a realistic trade up or down. Key word is realistic

Its impossible to mock out pick 42 but if you want to give a player you like for 42 go for it.
1. Jabari Smith/Orlando
2 Chet Holmgren/Oklahoma City
3 Paolo Banchero Houston
4 Jaden Ivey/Sacramento
5 Keegan Murray/Detroit
6 Benedict Mathurin/ Indiana
7 Shaedon Sharpe/Portland
8 Johnny Davis/ Pelicans
9 Adrian Griffin/San Antonio
10 Dyson Daniels/Washington
11 NY
42 NY
The 10 listed make it tough. Hoping someone unexpected moves up. But Branham would be my choice.
Pick 11 Jalen Williams Pg
Pick 42 Justin lewis F or Christian koloko C
Udfa Bryce Hamilton G for westchester
11# Jeremy Sochan F Baylor
I believe the Knicks are going to move on from Robinson and go big on this first pick. Not a center but Sochan can defend all three front court positions and is smooth with the ball in his hands.
42# Wendell Moore SF Duke
I don't know where he is on mock drafts but I do know this young man isn't being talked enough. I would be surprised if he falls out of the first round but if he does, I hope the Knicks do what they can to try and snatch him up.
Just no way Orlando doesn't go with Holmgren as the top pick. If they are all in on the Wagner brothers, why wouldn't they potentially try to resurrect the Suggs pick with his high school teammate Chet? Orlando tanked the season for this possibility. Briggs, we can make a double wager on this and the Brunson contact, involving international shipping of some favorite local treats.

At 42 it’s tough as you said. It depends on who drops. I like someone like Koloko, Jaylin Williams or Nzosa because it’s a cheap way to get a good big man prospect in an era where they are very undervalued. Look at the finals. You can find that next Robert Williams/kevon Looney in the second round and put them on a 4 year minimum deal like Mitch was. You have that player plus Sims and if they develop you’re set. Throw in Toppin for some center minutes and you can build a team out without much money invested in the center position.
I would go with Branham also but I hope someone reaches in the top 10 and someone good falls to the 11th pick.
Randle and the 11 to Portland for 7, Bledsoe and Winslow. I’m all in on Shaedon Sharpe.
42 Mousa Diabate, though I hope the FO would have the skill to get him to play overseas for a year or two to fill out a bit. Roster spots are becoming a premium.

This type of trade has been in the back of my mind for a while now too.

I don't know Damian's contract terms but i was wondering if Sacramento was thinkig #4 for someone like Damian -- win now but long in the tooth. He and Sabonis (along with Fox) would at least make them relevant
That said, i do think the CJ trade was not so much a reboot as an acknowledgement that Anfernee Simmons needs more minutes. SO there might be something to them potentially being interested in someone like Randle. He's probably better as a number 2 to Damian. He hasn't handled the number 1 role well when there's adversity and fans in the seats
11. Sochan or Agbaji
42. Euro stash
this is the nightmare scenario and will probably happen. I think i like Eason in this case given his size, defense, hustle, and overall production. I like Jalen Williams' shot and measurements, but he looked very slow to me in the highlight reel I watched. I guess Luka is slow too, so maybe he ends up working out. Wouldn't hate it.
My personal preference in order:
1. Find a way to trade up for Ivey while keeping IQ and Obi (would ultimately include Obi in the deal if needed)
2. Trade to 7 or 8 to get Sharpe or Mathurin
3. Stay at 11 and take Daniels, Johnny Davis, or Griffin
11. Jeremy Sochan
42. Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu
I wonder the cost of moving up. I think higher than what we’d like to pay

well - would Obi, Cam & the Dallas #1 be enough? That has to get you up some spots. Is it 4 or 5?
Is Ivey that much better than who we get at 11?

Its just so hard to predict what the price of moving up that far is and if its even a consideration. My guess is 3 unprotected picks plusa young player which unless its a superstar--is a price thats scary.
I really like my two guys for the Knicks eason and Williams because they both bring intangibles we dont have in a possibly impactful way. The trump for williams is DRIBBLE PASS SHOOT 3 level translating skills power forward length in what I think is a PG.Were watching the GS warriors who have DRIBBLE PASS shoot players all over the team and even though Boston has someone what self destructed----the champioship dna for GS is dribble pass shoot. Im not a randle fan but maybe we can bring him back here draft a really good PG like Williams who can play WITH OTHER PGs like IQ Mcbride and Rose and perhaps move Randle to a lower off ball position where he is less a focus but put in position to help the team succeed. I dont want to give up 3 number 1s plus obi Id rather just draft Williams he needs some defensive work but hes got the goods to be a two way PG monster. Not worried about blazing speed worried about overall skills

Before I saw this post I literally had looked up salaries to see if the exact same trade would work. Definitely on board with this.
I predict they trade for IVEY for the overall 4th pick and continue to build this team around RJ with IVEY as his sidekick, forming a new dynamic duo in Gotham.
I predict they either trade their 2nd rd pick for a future pick or they select PF. Michael Foster who's currently playing in the G league. A Milwaukee guy..

Woukd love to pull off this trade and think this is the
direction we need to fully embrace. With that said, I don't see it happening. especially with Thibs on the sidelines.

This guy really wants Randle off the Knicks.
Think this is exactly the move the FO will NOT make. The y are not reaching nor overpaying.
Do not see them trading their best player(and more) for a player who's last game was with an AAU team. Sorry Randle foes. Not happening.
I'll pick Adbaji, Branham. Although feel Davis will be available as well.
However, still leaning towards what the FO has done in past. Trade down when seeing better value below.
