Miami got worse and I ain't complaining
Beal $251 million for 5 years for a team that hasn’t sniffed .500 last 4 years with him.
Is this a head scratcher?

Bro what the hell is that? over 16 million for a 3 and D guy who has no 3

This is why I laugh when people attack Brunson number- wait until you see some of the contracts handed out today

He's decent enough from three. Barring a major injury, I suspect he'll be movable those first few years too.
Guess we’re likely done once/if we re-sign Mitch, bar a little tinkering
Heat submitted a trade offer to the Jazz for D-Mitch (guessing its Herro, Duncan and picks). I think that’s trash, but for whatever reason will get heralded as a great offer and likely accepted
That Hawks guy thinks KD will end up in Miami, Bam and Herro with the Nets, maybe Simmons with the Hawks. No idea if it’s a guess, but I think it makes sense. Maybe they’re trying to sweeten it by Landing Mitch for Herro and Dunca and then re-rooting him to the Nets

Nets can't accept Bam i dont think

How is Simmons going to the Hawks in this scenario? Atlanta already took (and granted, made) their shot. Sounds just like a fan day dreaming.

33% for a guy who is 6'3 is below average. What team would want him at that value? Fournier contract looking better and better.

If I had to trade Fournier for Lu's 3&D potential, I think I do it. Lu is an animal.
How about going after Lonnie Walker? Heard Spurs let him become UFA - he is young and talented and shouldn't cost much. Malik Monk would have worked but he signed for more money with the Kings.

I'm a bit lower on him. His shot IQ is really bad. He's shot OKC out of the games I've seen though its prolly to do with having more responsibilities and stuff. Will have to see how that pans out

I read that because Simmons and Bam both are signed using the Designated Rookie Exception, you can’t have both on the same roster.
That means that to make that kind of trade, they would need to find a taker for Simmons. My issue with Simmons is that I am not sure he still wants to play basketball.
So the word is Brunson accepted a 4yr/$104m deal? That's a relative bargain when you consider some of the other things on the table. I think that # may go up *if* Dallas plays the sign & trade game with us. They have a week to sort things out, right?
Anfernee Simons got 4yr/$100m. (I'm blown away by that - but they must really believe he's the real deal - as a 6'3" SG!)
Dort - wow.
Not sure how we complain about Fournier when you consider the $$$'s being spent on lesser players... (none of these guys have gone into Olympic Jordan mode)

Arenas, Wall, now Beal - Wizards max for mediocrity.
Thinking of those I have no complaints about Brunson, Randle, Fournier.

Simons is legit. Very good player. Why they traded CJ
