https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication...This is the kid I would give serious assets for. Not some 19 year old unknown that can easily turn into a bust. Did not think Spurs would make him available but I guess they see what might be offered for Ivey and want to find out how crazy teams can be.
What would it take. Article say THREE first rounders. 11th, next year's Dallas pick and Obi works for me. I would throw in ANY Vet. Yes, Randle included.
He has cornerstone potential. 3 first rounders is a good price.

We dont need him. Draft a good player stay with IQ Mcbride. He didnt do sht for the Spurs

If you compare him to the Ivey possibility - I like this more as he is proven to be a 2-way player that is still very young. He also excels at defense so Thibs will love/play him. He is a true PG so we could more easily lose IQ with the picks and still have a starting PG in return. Ivey seems more like a combo guard and while his potential is higher - so is the risk. So if it's 3 1sts and IQ for Ivey or 3 1sts and IQ for D.Murray - sign me up for Murray!

Disagree. Perhaps you have not watched him play throughout the year.
Saying we are okay with a pick at 11 in terms of PG is hard to believe.
Jalen? Ty Ty? These are both long shots that people like talking about during draft week.
Talking points most knew did not exist until some internet guy mentioned them on a blog.
Saying Deuce and IQ are the answer is ignorant to what happened last year.
I do not mind if IQ starts. Think he would do a better job than most talked about us getting but DMurray is another level and can transform the team. He also fits with our other young players time frame.
Murray is a potential walking triple double. He was an All Star in the NBA. Not a third year PG from Santa Clara.
Kid can get to any of his spots at this level very easily. If he improves his 3pt shot he will be elite.
This kid is worth a couple of longshot chances.
If we can get him for draft assets and one of our youngins, you do it.
Having two All Stars is a good start. Both relatively young.
May be wrong but he has some solid NBA data that says it's a good bet.

I disagree. I would open the war chest for Murray. Two way player. His 3 is his biggest deficiency but, I think he is a top 5 pg in the league for the next decade.
I agree with Hofstra.
Later for Ivey who may become a Top 3 pick ....
The Knicks NEED Murray veteran experience now and the next 5 to 8 seasons from now.
Having Murray, D.Rose, Quickley, and McBride in the back court distributing the ball and scoring makes the Knicks a win win team in the East.
Murray's performance equal Randle & Barrett's combine performance.
Give the Spurs Randle & Barrett for Murray !!!
Guy was drafted with our pick; so it would ironic if give up picks, Murray sucks because of injury and Denver again benefits from our picks
why would san antonio be looking to give him up?

Blowing it up.
Murray is everything the Knicks hoped Frank would have become.
We would have to give up IQ and 2 first round picks for Murray. It might be worth it though. We would finally have a solid PG.
