I'd be happy to add him to our roster, but at what cost? We saw he was not able to lift the Nets in the play offs - so I am not giving up a lot.
Maybe he can go back to OKC?

The players are shooting themselves in the foot. The owners will demand in the next collective bargaining negotiation that there be no guaranteed contracts. If the players don’t honor them then why should the teams. In this case though, I think the Nets themselves kind of want a reset. Trade Durant and then Kyrie and then hope they can build a team around Ben Simmons with the boatload of assets and young players they will get.
yup.
and PS - Ben Simmons will demand a trade next. KARMA

You still have max contract room there for the player that wants to force a trade to NY.
No way on trading Barrett. Swap Barrett for Reddish, and deal. They can't do a 2023 pick swap.
Why can't they do a pick swap in 2023?
Ben Simmons ends up not playing with whatever the Nets get for gutting another team. The new face of the Barklays. LMAO
Phoenix giving up Ayton? Hopefully the Nets want Elfrid.
Does this mean Golden State's not on KD's list???

GS declined to let KD come back
As much as I want to laugh at the nets and the KD/Kyrie superteam I got a bad feeling this costs us Brunson

Said it from before day 1. KD did us a favor
Tatum and Durant would make a pretty nasty combination.

I don't see the point in having guaranteed contracts at this point. Even though Durant is under contract for multiple years he has the Nets by the b**ls. I don't know how NBA salaries work but even if the Nets were able to dock his pay for not playing his salary still counts against the cap.
Harden purposely playing out of shape and purposely playing bad in Houston was bad enough, but this is out of control already.
give them the 8 1sts everyone keeps saying we have available to trade

they have no picks
Gave them 3 picks in that same proposal.
Fournier for KD. And Joakim Noah will be his butler for one month (he owes us).
But KD has to agree to get his big toe cut off.
