He does but sadly his first name is Cam... not sure Thibs won't tell management he needs to change it if he wants to suit up on this team

It's Cam, but with more

Arkansas have four guys I think could go first round in Smith, Council, Black, and Walsh. They should make a really good tournament run

He’s a Knicks type of player too because he’s shown some pedigree (national championship) and they tend to avoid Freshmen with their first rounders. I’ve been watching him for two years and think of Cade Cunningham had gone to Kansas like people thought he was that Kansas might have pulled two championships.

I wish we could move up for Anthony black but they haven’t been able to trade up yet.

Knixkik @ 12/13/2022 7:55 PM
Really thinking kris Murray will be a good option. His twin Keegan was the 4th pick and I really don’t see a major difference between them. Maybe minor as far as shot creation but that’s the only real difference. Kris is tailor made to be a role player combo forward. Good shooter and switchable defender. He would plug in nicely at a backup SF and would probably be trusted defensively without issue. A bigger 3&D forward is something this team lacks. If Knicks are drafting 2 players in the middle of the first round then maybe taking a safe 2-way player like Murray along with a more risk/ reward type guy with bigger upside might be a good approach.

Can't wait to check in on this guy in two seasons.

A player to keep an eye on eventually (he’s injured right now) is Rayan Rupert from France. He’s playing for the NZ Breakers. I expect his name to come up a lot once workouts take place. Seems like a mid first round prospect and he’s a long talented defender with an improving jumper. Given his build and skill set, his upside would be like a mikal Bridges type. That’s the type of player thibs will target. He got his guys grimes and deuce in 2021 so I expect him to have a major say once again.

Number 32 on Uconn Donovan Clingan---hes gonna be very special. Jordan Hawkins another possible late lottery earl 20's 3 point wing defense 6-5 super athlete. But Clingan is super special great hands feet touch and great on defense at 7-2 275

Taylor Hendricks looks like a guy who might rise to the late lottery to mid first round range. Plays at UCF but really good shooter at 6’9, versatile defender and good athlete. Could be a nice combo forward. Reminds me of Trey Murphy from 2 drafts ago the way he built up his draft stock. Same general profile. Big 3&D potential.

Thanks for this heads up. Been watching his highlights. Seems like a big bodied 6’7. Want to check that wingspan. Uber athletic and yet seems to be lacking some conditioning. Coming off injury that makes some sense. But I think by the tournament this guy is going to be in beast mode. Probably going to put himself above our draft stock. At the moment, absent a pure lotto talent, I think this is the guy. I see closer to Kawhi than any other comp. With some clean up of his foot work and an NBA level training regime, he looks like an elite 3&D.

Downside risk is that he puts too much weight on that frame and faces injury risk and slows down further.

But I see a next gen guy with McBride/Grimes/Whitmore/Sims.

McBrides Quick Grimey Dick... That has a ring to it.

Clingan? Alex Karaban looked more impressive to me.
