The Boys season 3 was another winner, BTW. Best show right now IMO.

Roster, cast, whatever.

I’m watching the boys a few other things. It’s fucked up. The sheen has worn off a bit but still out there.
It’s my work out program to do long cardio stuff. Don’t the HBO “winning time” about the lakers, “Billions” and will start the final season of Peeky Blinders soon.

I hear you. It's hard to keep up the shock value that started within the first few minutes of season 1, episode 1. But they're trying!

Luckily the casting is great, and the writing and pacing is very good IMO. Not drawn out to the point of being boring like so many shows.

Spoiler alert: I think it was season one when Soop chick sat on dudes face and crused it, or the recent minutiae dude up a dudes dick and …………..Bam! That’s so fucked up its hysterical. Mrs Nalod, an accomplished writer and heavy reader was aghast when I called her to my work out room and had her watch that scene. It’s not for everyone!!!!!
She like “. You like this stuff”, I said, no, I’m repulsed actually, but its done well and so far off the charts it entertains.

Remember the “Crank” movies with Stratham? draws you in and so unpredictable fictional humor. If done well, pretty good stuff.

Yeah, Arnold's son is supposed to be in this. This past season of The Boys ended on such a downer. I hope this spinoff is a little bit more upbeat.

Peacemaker was also awesome, I think I liked it more than The Boys

The Popclaw scene where she sits on the landlords face might be one of my favorite scenes. The ones this season where MM gets various bodily fluids flung on him also had me cracking up. The Soldier Boy scenes with the grandmas and his renditions of Rappers Delight are also go tos for me. This show could easily veer in the wrong direction if handled differently. They got the comedic timing down so good that the gore still catches me by surprise.

I like Peacemaker too. I think I lean more Boys because the satire is more overarching, but I'd recommend both to anybody.

Boy's definitely better with the satire, but I laughed a lot when Peacemaker had to escape via jumping down the apartment balconies and painfully messed up every single jump in a different way😂

I liked it more too but that might be because John Cena was so charismatic in the role and while it was dark, it wasn’t nearly as dark as the Boys… which says a lot because peacemaker had brain eating bugs.

Fauda on Netflix best active show on tv. Season 4 coming out later this year
