We all know that Ainge has his eyes on Wenbanyama. The Karma gods will finally bless the knicks and they win the lottery selecting Wenbanyame while the Jazz falls back a few picks landing late lottery. Highlighting the value of the Knicks pick.

If DM was here the likley hood of things not working would not be as high.
IF DM was here there might have been other moves or considerations that puts us in top 10 in the east.
The spite thing is opinon and I have read some post draft evaluations via media or informed bloggersthat justify them taking the Cavs offer over ours. Its not fact and not universally accepted opinion so take it from where it comes from. Some fans are “good riddence” since it did not materialize.
I always thought a deal did not include RJ. To me, RJ and the picks/players was a high price. Perhaps it all boiled down to Utah not valuing RJ enough and Knicks thinking the price was too high. If RJ was in there was less picks is the logic?

It all depends on RJ and what he becomes over the next contract. No definitive answer yet.
