He will need time to adapt and grow into this. Most fans will freak the fuck out after 20 games. Im man we have threads planning on how to deal with it already!
Was trying to think of the recent UFA signings in the last 2-3 years for players in the mid 20s range across the NBA.
Has there been better?
No, teams usually don't mismanage those situations as bad as the Mavericks did. Dallas threw away the opportunity to sign Brunson for far less than he ended up being worth on the open market. Only thing that's kind of close is the Christian Wood signing in Houston.

Lowry
Derozan
J. Grant
Dinwiddie
Not sure any of these are “better” but in fairness it is probably too soon to tell if the outcome is better.

He accidentally put the #1 priority in the #7 slot. If that’s his priority list in order of importance we are look at the #5-8 pick this year.
We don’t know if its a priority list or the weightings to each of them.
I do like the photo with Randle looking at Thibs…….”what, this list all about me and and only me?”
Thibs: “Look at it Jules, look at it”!
Randle:”no coach, not going to look at it!”
Isiah Thomas list on offense .. add ball-movement, and the many ways to get ball-movement .. then again none of Thibs teams (Bulls/Wolves/Knicks) ever showed ball-movement.

Here is one criticism. why a list of 8 things? It's hard, if not impossible, to get the smartest people in the world to focus on 8 things.
His list should be 3 things, 4 tops.
Create and attack open space. that requires players to move without the ball, change their position based on what the defense is doing, where their team mates are, where the ball is. Passing the ball is the fastest way to move the ball! I remember that from my high school gym teacher ffs!

Julius Randle? Depends on the timeline. Prior to last season he was our All NBA 3rd team All star used from cap space form the KP deal. Jury is still out for some of us. Or hope still prevails!

Dinwiddie was coming off ACL.
Lowrey and Derozen over 30.
J. Grant seems revered and loved by many fans here but not the the teams that he plays for.
Signs of change. It peaked my interest.
Partially concerning partially good.

I can't take another season of Randle getting into some weird beef with someone over something trivial every single game again- despite all his smiles, he had an incident like this in the Pro AM game, and then already in game 2 of training camp- sheesh!

Take it from a different perspective: it’s awesome that someone on the team got in the face of Randle.
It’s a good thing
We have a lot of injuries already. We were talking about people being out of the rotation but with these injures that may no longer be a problem.
Here is some proof of the improved Randle shooting that was talked about in those texts.
