Barrett impressed me. Doubt he keeps these percentages up over the course of a season but the added strength and agility I am seeing at 22 makes me start moving my upside projection of him. I see the Wiggins/Iguodala comparisons. If passing gets contagious in that first unit, He could be moving up the ranks very fast.
Brunson showed he can make players better. I love him being the initiator of the offense. Some days his shot won’t fall, but his midrange game is pretty elite. Even though midrange floaters and turnarounds are not a very “efficient” set of shots, he puts a lot of pressure on defenses and that confusion he sows creates efficient opportunities. He still sends up efficient with primarily midrange shots and then add some solid assists caused by his dribble and body control. I think we will see him fighting for FVV’s all star nod in the short term and moving up the recognition ladder quick.
The Robinson/Brunson connection may put Robinson in the spotlight for both offense and defense. Robinson can be a 20/10 again pretty easily with Brunson working in the paint. One thing that people don’t talk about are Robinson’s steals. He looks like he is using his footwork really well to poke balls away. He averaged a steal a game in 22 minutes this preseason.
Randle looks to have the right mindset. That 3 just isn’t falling for him and on paper it’s making his stats look much worse than what they are. I want to keep him attacking the basket and hope that 3 will fall. His defense looks solid and I think his head is in the right place.
Not really loving Fournier with the first unit. I think he needs the ball in his hands to be effective (like he has in France) but is a bit lost in the offense without the ball. Kind of standing around waiting for a pass rather than moving proactively. I don’t want to hate on him, but he might be better suited to the first unit with Grimes starting. (Note: Grimes didn’t really have a preseason, so most of my comment on Grimes is that he will play hard nosed defense and move better without the ball.

So five more years, assuming Wemby has an injury free progression to a superstar? Will Fournier's pride prevent him from backing up Frank on the national team
