Brought this situation up - I think all the way back to the summer.
Seems very suspicious to me — very few situations where nobody can find the issue but player just can’t play or run.
No proof but really think this is either Lonzo angling for a retirement settlement or forcing his way out of Chicago. I know others will disagree but just highly suspicious- I think Bulls training staff even said recently they can’t find the injury.
Problem would be if he wants out of Chicago who is going to take a chance on him if he hasn’t played in 2+ years
great for us

when there is no clear answer the public tilts to a conspiracy of sorts? Toxic is social media. Why would he want to angle for a retirement settlement if he not hurt for real? How can you draw this as "Suspicious" when all you got is "I think Bulls training staff even said"............Your not even sure? If they said that, and I doubt they would given HIPA privacy rules, what is the deal? He says there is pain. You don't believe him? You were saying you were suspicious last summer? Its not that I agree or disagree with you. I just have no idea where you are coming from on this?
who really knows? i'm surprised that these guys aren't hurting every day

I’m just giving my opinion here in a very unusual situation.
Initially I thought maybe Lonzo got his payday and just doesn’t want to play anymore…also thought maybe he’s trying to force his way out of Chicago (maybe I’m completely wrong on both points).
His agent was quoted today saying Lonzo has seen doctors all over the country and they all say it’s a unique injury they’ve never seen before.
The initial report I commented on stated that neither the bulls medical staff or Lonzo know why he is experiencing pain.
I stand by my initial comments that the situation is highly suspicious.

What is this? Lillard burnt out from the all star game?

Lord have mercy for the load management! Or shall we call it something not so offensive to Kyrie? Must be exhausting to sit on a private plane all those hours after few days off. All those amenities to keep you up? Perhaps the tank is on in Portland? You get scoot, you trade Lilliard and reboot.

Saw that Lillard/Grant load mgmt post —- hope someday we see some reset to guys showing up.
This is one reason we should appreciate Thibs — not too much load mgmt with Thibs teams and overall I think that is working.
Not saying I wouldn’t like him to pull heavy minute guys in blowouts but he sets expectation that guys complete and play.

Watching 76ers Griz. Best play of the game?
The lady in the pink tube top jumping with the nipping slip
Or
Morant trying to dunk on Embid. Embid blocks Morant so hard he looks like he’s going to cry
Sixers just stomping on the Grizzlies soul in the last minute

What a joke. I get the inconvenience but no reason these guys are sitting out as rest days. On a related note, did anyone see the Portland starting backcourt last night ? Reddish and Arcidiacono. Reddish is getting his wish. For the reminder of the year he’s going to get unearned shots and minutes and sort of be allowed to make or break his career. Portland is only a game out of 8th but seems to be in some sort of pseudo-tank as their rotation suddenly looks extremely light outside of Lillard, Simmons and Grant, none of whom are playing lately.

Yes - recording Portland games so I can keep an eye on Cam. Have to say some luster has worn off IMO.
There is a casualness/sloppiness to Cam’s game that just leaves me wondering where this kid is going to end up. With the Knicks he was seemingly our only long talented wing but out in Portland he will now be 1 of many if you factor in guys like N Little, S Sharpe, M Thybulle, T Watford, J Walker and old friend K Knox.
Cam put up 24 on 7-18 shooting, 4 RBs, 4 assts, 2 steals and 5 TOs —- -18 +/-
