BTW, who is having the better playoff series - Zion, Ja, or RJ?
Brooks will be in the league next year. Might have to eat some crow but maturity eventually comes to the talented.

My money is on Miami (I would bet a dollar Riley loves the guy), either LA team(they need cheap talent, although he fucked with Lebron), Dallas. Brooklyn as a dark horse would seem like a destination to me.

Ok hear me out... An end of the bench 3 &D wing at a good cost. What it be such a bad thing if we signed him if he came cheaply?

Do you really want him on the same team as Randle? Is JB a strong enough leader to be able to handle them both? Last season I was all about Brooks. I loved him. Then he went all Kyrie. Not sure if it is worth the trouble-especially on a team that has such good chemistry.
Hell, I still think he is a hate him on another team, love him on your team guy, but he showed out some bitch at the end of the Lakers series by not manning up and taking his licks with the press. Maybe if he toned down the trying too hard to be a tough guys act...

Not just JB. But Hart too. We have the Villanova support. We might be able to change him. 🤣 That's assuming he comes cheap.

If Minny is looking for a government bailout of the Gobert trade that may be a long shot.

What don’t we know internally that MIGHT make him a bad fit? We know the obvious but does he burn it up inside the lockerroom too? Is he not coachable?
he seems like the perfect next Miami villain if he can be integrated with the culture which is more about doing then yapping. Also, having an IQ that can adapt when the coach asks. You do so something.
What don’t fans know that made the divorce so necessary?

Specifically, if Toronto signs Bud and drafts a center I think they are much more competitive this coming year.
I don’t think Milwaukee replaces Bud with comparable coaching talent.

If I'm Nurse, I'm chomping at the bit to get a chance to coach prime Giannis. I don't agree with firing, but it was getting harder and harder to defend Bud. The NBA is like a friggin' soap opera for dudes. 🤣

This was pretty fucking cold. Didn't his brother just die in a car crash during that last series?

Yep, just ten days ago.

He has been on the hot seat before then finally broke thru with a chip. He is very much about “process” and does not change.
From the school of Pop. Sometimes it works, sometimes it looks bad.
As said, it was not about this last “failure”.
Maybe best to take some time and mourn his brother and tend to family, then come back? I don’t know him obviously.
New ownership/team governor perhaps wanted a new look.
If KD toe stays below the line nets get to finals and he gets fired then. He was on the hot seat then.

I like that 2025 pick better without Bud.
without public drama, perhaps Giannis requested it?
Also, Bud gets fired he gets paid.
