You think they consider Randle a star?
Nalod @ 4/28/2023 1:35 PM
IQ a star to be??
TPercy @ 4/28/2023 2:08 PM
So Clippers, Bucks, Raptors are on brink of rebuild/collapse...any of their players we may want to capitalize on? How do we feel about Paul George for his last 2 years..
TPercy @ 4/28/2023 2:25 PM
Also we need to figure out how to get trey Murphy onto this team

Overpaying for aging stars/superstars especially ones that miss a lot of time is not the way to go I maintain. Who is worth an overpay? And that is available? Otherwise I'd like to see the Knicks continue to build through the draft, JHart type trades, and smart economical FA signings (notwithstanding Fournier and the like - can't hit on all of them).

What no Keels and Jeffries. Plus Toby

I know he’s young but this kid has been hot trash on the court since day 1.

I’ll go as far as to say he is holding them back.
J. Smith Jr., IMO, is the real deal and Martin Jr. And Sengun have potential.

You might be right. I thought he was a better shooter. He will improve with more structure and better coaching but we need shooters.

They offered him extension earlier in the season. He rejeceted it. Now the bag been put away.
"No soup for you". Sent him packing at exit interview.
Curious if he lands anywhere.
There is a story behind all this besides the fact he is an arse.

Doesn’t surprise me. I think they felt his antics hindered the team this year and would long term. I hope the Knicks lock up Hart quickly in free agency because I can see Memphis viewing him as an excellent replacement.

One thing I really like about our Knicks team is no knuckleheads.

Richard Jefferson and Kendrick Perkins said that it would hurt recruitment. Perkins glossed over the hit to Lebron's privates. Did the same thing earlier in the season.

Personally, its all the trash talk, the cheap shot to the GOAT*. AND ducking the media like a wuss.

After the endless talk, he should have been man enough to sit at that media table, and taken his medicine. Its the weakest thing you can do, after talking your ass off, and disrespecting a legend.

I hope he's playing in the Easter Island league next season.

The Grizz act was cute for a while but at some point it has to deliver. if not, it gets ugly quick.
Jah's Gangster act got stale and Brooks did not back it up.
I can imagine the team laid it out what it wanted from him both on the court and how he carries himself.
He will now have to do some anger management thing, perhaps get diagnosed with some depression thing, take some time "away from the game" and then do a one year contract to prove things.
No cure for being an asshole in reality, but he can try to change.

VDesai @ 5/3/2023 7:36 AM
Dillon Brooks is the new Lance Stephenson. Worked hard to ne a good NBA role player or even 3rd option. Then he convinced himaelf he was aome sort of Lebron stopping agitator and now is getting blackballed.
Chandler @ 5/3/2023 11:26 AM
I hate to say it but i think D.Brooks is being something of a scapegoat. That team beat themselves with their immaturity and lack of discipline. Ja. Bane Brooks Jackson

I loved their potential and energy but the swagger got a bit too much and it killed them. Brooks is the least talented of the bunch so as Nalod says, "no soup for you"! There's probably more to it, like he probably told staff and coaches to f*ck off

I don't think he'll be blackballed.

Only cause he is the one who is doing it? Too easy?

KnickDanger @ 5/3/2023 7:37 PM
BTW, who is having the better playoff series - Zion, Ja, or RJ?
