Looks like Philly isn't serious about trading Harris since he's expiring anyway. Good luck with that Darryl.

Trae is not as effective as he was when the league was relentlessly gifting him free throws.

Clutch shots matter though
And scoring in the crunch and winning

Hey! Let me enjoy my stats!

I especially enjoy the one where they have 3 playoff wins in two years.

If OG switches to CAA, you know it’s on 😅

RJ would've been #10 if Cade played enough games to qualify. Baby steps.

OG fits better than RJ with Randle but it depends on the deal. If it's just a one for one swap, I might pull the trigger but if Ujiri wants assets on top of RJ for OG then forget it! OG is not that much better than RJ if we're being honest.

I think KAT would be an awful idea and way too expensive and not worth it. I'd only do it if it's dirt cheap but Minnesota will want to recover all the assets and picks they gave up for Gobert.

The more I think about it, it's probably just best to run it back with pretty much the same squad. Trade Obi for the best package and use the MLE to sign his replacement unless you get it back in a trade. I'm definitely extending both IQ and Hart. Keep your assets and try again in February.

How far has Ayton's value actually fallen?!

The Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks engaged in advanced discussions on a trade of Deandre Ayton during the draft before talks stalled, sources tell Marc Stein of Substack.

The trade would have sent Ayton to Dallas for Tim Hardaway Jr., Richaun Holmes and JaVale McGee, but the Suns objected to the inclusion of McGee. Even though the Suns wouldn't have acquired any future first round picks, they liked turning Ayton into two rotation players in Hardaway and Holmes.

Sources tell Stein that the talks could be resumed.

He is up there with John Collins

Nothing to see! Definitely no tampering going on here!!

That sound you hear in the background is the sound of someone from Cleveland shitting bricks but that's OK cause they'll get another top 4 pick right after that

Maybe we discounting Timmy's value??? LOL. If Ayton's value that low I missed it.

I get all the nonsense feeds like "If Harden not back to Philly keep an eye on Embiid to NY".
I saw what Morey was asking for Harris and it was silly.
Can't imagine what a gut job he'd want to for Embiid.
Current reigning MVP who put it all in the regular season to get that award and beat Jokic.
Finals MVP is the ultimate. Joel got hurt again. Played thru it and he a hell of a player.
CAA and love for Leon is ok. My gut says Joel is biologically older than his 29 year old age. Guy is a monster. Its no the picks that bother me, its who is left to contend. You have to contend in a two year window with him.
Philly wants to move Harris.
I have no idea how to construct a trade that they'd want or need to do. They have Maxy who is a better player than IQ. Harris is a version of Randle.

Money aside, A core of Randle, Mitch, Grimes and two picks. Thats an all NBA/Allstar and two starters. Im not into swaps. Your reward the Sixers if the deal does not pan out for us.
More likely They bring harden back and make a run of it.

Don’t even waste your time thinking about a trade of embid to the Knicks. NO chance.

Aytons value was never high. Low motor, low rebounding, low defense, low passing, low intimidation. Me first player that demands touches. Decent scorer, limited court vision, decently durable, but he doesn’t do much with his body so he avoids injury.

He has size and can score. Plays like a late lotto pick, not like a #1 pick. He’s worth a mediocre starter and a serviceable C. I think that IQ and Mitch for him is an overpay.

A gross overpay. All I think it'd take is the cheaper contracts of Mitchell Robinson and Jericho Sims. They'd get two rotation-caliber players for the price of one, while shaving +$10 million or so from the remainder of the Ayton contract. Makes sense for both teams.
