If the lateral move allows for good spacing, and some upside… yes. He’s a fourth option if RJ wakes up and might be a bench piece if Grimes plays like we think he can.

You're not getting upside back for Fournier right now and you'd be hard-pressed to get shooter is near his level. Shooting is at a premium, as evidenced by Landry Shamet still being in tgeAt best, you're swapping similarly bad contracts. At worst, you're attaching assets. Best course of action is 'to get him right' and raise his appeal to playoff teams near the trade deadline.

Fournier is given license to create off the PnR and find his rhythm more readily with France. He's a rhythm and it's going to take some time for him to develop chemistry with JB. Look how long it took for him to gel with Jules last year.

His level? He shot 38% from 3 last season and is currently at 40%. Not bad. Not good either considering he’s supposed to be a three point specialist. His defense is average at best. We’re better off with Cam starting and Grimes coming off the bench
