Certainly if they played the Knicks 82 times. He looks like a legit scoring threat through.
You should check out some of those Banchero highlights. I think it's his to lose.

Jabari looked really in his first game....

He looked good, but the difference is in their level of shot creation. Banchero can create baskets at all three levels while Jabari is still more dependent on others to find him through cuts and spot ups.
Does Mathurin start ? They will have to move Hield I guess.

Still holding out on those two Lakers draft picks.

Yes you’re probably right.

Not for nothing but IMHO Hield and Turner are not deserving of 2 of those Lakers picks

Not at all, but it’s for dumping Westbrook too. Did you see him last night ? Not interested in team huddle etc. he’s completely checked out.

I saw that....Kind of waved Beverly off....Westbrook didn't take his first shot until late in the 2nd. Westbrook is expiring, no need for the Lakers to include 2 first to move him.

This is entirely correct from a salary cap perspective.

LAL has enough money for a max free agent next offseason. They basically only have AD and Lebron on the roster in 2023. You can assume they have eyes on Kyrie. Fill in the blanks with youth and vets appears to be Lebron's game.

Kyrie from what I have read is one and done with BKN this year and LA bound. Nets have issues going forward but for now its year one.
What becomes of simmons will determine a lot. Next year without Kyrie They have about 22mil free to spend. That gives them ability to create more and add back to simmons and Durant. That's for another day though.
If healthy Nets are formitable this year. Mental health also matters.
