Does This play an 8 man rotation? Reddish can play the 4. He might even fit better there. Will Mykhailuk get get 10 minutes, Deuce or just play more RJ.
I think Thibs will Thibs and play the starters more minutes with a Reddish cameo. First game of the season, I'd rather see him stick with similar minutes as in the preseason and play Deuce and Cam with the second unit.
I would guess you see the Rose/McBride/IQ line quite a bit with Randle likely getting 36+ minutes and Cam getting 12 or less minutes. Closer to the 8 man rotation than not.

Is Svi still on the team? I thought they gave the final roster spot to Arch.

Svi and Arcidiacono make 15. Not sure though. He still shows up on the roster
If we need a replacement at the SF I think we should go with Svi. If we need a replacement at the PF I think we should give Cam a try there. Last season when Cam finally started doing some positive things it was as backup PF. That might be his best chance to actually contribute. As a 4 he would be going against slower players so his driving ability should be enhanced. His inability to hit an outside should not hurt him as much.

There were two roster spots. Add Feron Hunt and Trevor Keels on 2 way contracts as well.
If Obi and grimes don’t play I can see reddish seeing minutes as 9th man. If it’s only grimes out I can see Thibs sticking with 9 with reddish still being odd man out. We will see.
We've got 3 third stringers waiting for a chance.
If a guard's out, Deuce is up.
If a wing is out, Cam gets minutes.
If a big is out, Jericho's on deck.

Just saying, Sims summer play and of season work with the second string looked a lot better than Hart's minutes so far.

Yeah Sims fits with that unit seamlessly. I think we are going to be in trouble if Mitch gets hurt. Who steps into the starting role? Sims isn’t ready and Hart just doesn’t have the defensive presence or rebounding the 1sr unit needs.

I'll give Hart the benefit of the doubt. He showed he can play last season on a the last few seasons. I think he just needs time to blend in on a new unit.
Hart is also very tradable. Rose, Fournier and Hart for Westbrook and pick works depending how the season goes.
One Luka injury and the Knicks have a real lottery shot.
Let’s hopes Grimes can stay healthy. He’s been injury prone, would hate to see him be one of these guys that can’t catch a break. Really needed his defense tonight to try to slow down the Gritz wings.
Wait we might actually see Cam tonight?

We shall find out if Sims is ready if Mitch gets injured. Thibs likes defense first Centers

Dallas Mavericks: Traded to Knicks (top-10 protected).
If this pick lands in its protected range, the Mavericks would owe the Knicks their 2024 first round pick (top-10 protected).
That is not what happens if team fails. Tanking would actually benefit Dallas.
But its possible. 11th there is a 9.4% chance at a top 4 pick. There also a 12.2# chance of falling to 12th.
12,13,14th picks the odds continue to fall. by 14th pick you can't fall to 15th but just a 2.4% chance of landing in top 4.
I guess Cam is going to see where he stands tonight with Grimes out. Stud or dud? Hero or zero? Wylie E or roadrunner? Bench or rotation? I already starting to feel bad for the kid.
