Knicks · [Game Thread] 10/19/22 Season Opener @ Grizzlies (page 16)

Randle was outstanding tonight, redfish and Hart put up big minutes. RJ can play 4 quarters like that
BigDaddyG @ 10/19/2022 10:24 PM
Good game
Clean @ 10/19/2022 10:24 PM
If RJ was not complete trash we win this game. If refs would call a damn moving pick we win this game.
Clean @ 10/19/2022 10:25 PM

I had no idea it was that bad he shot 16%!!!!!!
BMart @ 10/19/2022 10:26 PM
His offensive efficiency can only go up

Trade RJ!

GustavBahler @ 10/19/2022 10:27 PM
Maybe its from bulking up, but RJ looks a step slower than last season.
TheGame @ 10/19/2022 10:27 PM
Fun game. Knicks played hard. JB definitely makes us tougher. Reddish looked terrible in preseason but was balling today but still made some stupid turnovers. If we play at least at this level every game, we will win a lot of games once Barrett’s shot starts falling.

If Cam can play at this level offensively rest of the season I feel really good about this team

His creativity, the English, the clutch 3

He can put the ball on the floor and he finished at the rim all night

KnickDanger @ 10/19/2022 10:29 PM
Ahhhh bummer. But we hung tough with one of the best teams in the NBA on the road with the refs doing the usual.

Love the fight in the orange and blue but Memphis was missing 2 of their top 5 players...

technomaster @ 10/19/2022 10:29 PM
RJ got good looks. If he makes even one of those it changes the game. But this loss is on him.

Reddish was outstanding. I guess this is what his supporters see in him. If he’s consistently half of his output this game, that’s a pretty good rotation player.

NYStateOfMind @ 10/19/2022 10:30 PM
Might have missed it, but why didn't Brunson get 2 free throws on the charge call? I thought they had no fouls to give. I must have seen it wrong.

Anyway 4 pt turn around with missed hit on his head in OT, lame. Too many open shots missed by knicks but hit by them all game. Hard game to watch overall. Even if they are the better team and at home.

franco12 @ 10/19/2022 10:30 PM
RJ put up numbers that I would expect from Cam.

THIS GAME!?!

Bro just can’t shoot. He is bball version of Chuck Knoblauch.

Clean @ 10/19/2022 10:32 PM
Listen, I am going to be real. If Cam can just push the ball every time he gets it he can be a positive for us. This is literally what Obi does. He does not need all those off balance shots. Just push the damn ball.

Randle: Hold my beer!

GustavBahler @ 10/19/2022 10:33 PM
The way Hart is playing, Mitch shouldnt assume that the starting job will remain his, because of his new deal. Hart is showing the value of a midrange jumper. Demonstrated that he can still put pts on the board when his 3pter is off.
