Someone tell Tommy Beer that Cam is shooting 56/44/100 so he can go all in on the small sample size

I’m just watching the game now. I really love how the Knicks forced their will on the Magic finishing strong going into the half. That’s what good teams do. I really like this Randle. Barrett, I just don’t know man. I want to like him but he needs to start making his shots. I notice how a lot of good players go right at the rim and use their shoulder to create space. Barrett always attacks contact without creating space throwing something towards the rim in desperation. He is neither long enough or can elevate enough to get good shots in contact. I really hate watching him brick layups. Reddish’s floor is Knox’s ceiling. I am getting excited about Cam’s possibilities. He looks improved with every game and it’s only game 3.

I can’t wait to play the Cavaliers.

Eh, Julius had 35, 21 and 30 his first 3 games last season. I'm not getting suckered again. They need to trade him to clear salary and get off this manic rollercoaster ride.

Keep hope alive brother! Dreams do come true. Just keep dropping those coins every day with the wish that Randle plays horribly. Were you throwing the remote every time he made a good play last night? We are Knick fans brah. Be happy. Everybody is playing well. Including Randle.

For those looking for real insight, Randle's improvement has nothing to do with how many points he has scored this year or last. It is about the improvement in his demeanor, offensive and defensive approach. It's in his commitment to improvement. (Weight loss). His effort level on both sides. Hustle and energetic play. So far, think he is busting his ass on both sides. Playing good defense. (Yes the hater narrative can find a video of him not getting back. Which leaves out the previous 10 minutes of hustle and does not factor in being tired) Most importantly for those like me is that he is trying to play the right way and has made a commitment to improving his main issues from last year. That is all you can ask of all your players. If he continues to show this type of effort to hustle, improve and be part of the team concept, only haters would want him gone.

Kid is making a bid though. Agree not a big sample size but impressed with his athleticism. Finishing ability. Still think he rarely reads the floor well but makes up for it with effort.
Curious to see how we/Cam does against teams that stop our transition. Ie. Good defensive teams.

The best part is that now he knows what his niche is on the team. He can be Obi 2.0. Get out on the break and push the pace and get layups. If he can do that he can be valuable to us. His shot selection is still bad but his points on fast break have made up for it so far this season.

Naw, I want Randle to do good so the Knicks can actually get value in a trade. Before I was willing to give him up for a Papa John's papadilla. At this rate... They may actually get an unprotected pick back 😱 You can get on the hope train. I'm not getting fooled by odd year Randle again.

The real test will be when we have that 3 game losing streak. How will Randle react and act? It's easy to be all smiles and happy when you're winning and things are going your way!

Its ok to believe. Randle that makes better shooting decisions is a top tier PF. You will not get commensurate value for a guy playing this. And the trade kicker limits your options anyway. This was the best possibility. 3 games in, but the decision-making looks like this will be a good year for Randle. I am calling All Star game.

the obvious solution is to avoid that all together and never have a losing streak

Of course but losing streaks and struggles will always happen. We had 3 four game losing streaks in the 54 win 2013 season. This when veterans and leaders need to keep a team calm and regroup.
