That looks wrong. It should be Nets 3-1 and Knicks 1-3😂

I think it’s safe to say she’s a fan now? Hey… is she single? Giggity.

Fournier is not long for the starting position. Like 1 game after Grimes comes back.

It depends on if Grimes or Cam is hitting that 3 pt enough or if they can find a deal for him.

I think you are missing the point of how bad Fournier has looked

They need Fournier’s shooting. I’d rather see RJ move to the 2nd unit.

37 minutes and 2 fouls for Mitchell Robinson. Amazing game, Knicks showed a lot of heart to pull through for the win. Brunson might be the second Knicks MIP over the past three seasons. Knicks opened the season with an 'easier' stretch of games. The next 7 will go a long way to establishing the Knicks floor and ceiling.

Randle and RJ go for 40% from the field but Ny finishes at 53% led by the bench with 7-12 3s and Brunson's 10-15.

I'm still married :)

She was very into the game.. almost too into it.

Has a weird thing for IQ as well.

But she wants us to go back!

Win-Win!

That would be the move that would happen after they traded Fournier.

What good is a player if he gives up more points to the opposition then he scores. Cam or Grimes and tell ef to go sit

So RJ has the best plus/minus on the team, but is efg%, 3pt% and per 100 numbers are awful.

I hope he is simply trying too hard to justify his contract, but we’re not going to be winning if he continues to go 0’fers from the 3pt line and he can’t hit a lay up.

I’ll take Fournier any day over that.

He has the lowest IQ of any player in the league...always seems to do the dumbest things in critical situations. He has a terrible situational BB aptitude.

Fournier’s D is average at best. Cam is better at literally everything right now. If Cam doesn’t start he should at least be getting more minutes than EF and finishing the games

DSJ killed the Knicks when he was here, he kills us when he’s on the hornets

Glad to see he's taking advantage of the opportunity. He always had the talent, but he developed bad habits at NC State and the Mavs. Glad to see that he's realizing the league is more than highlight dunks. We're lucky 'meli and Scary Terry were out last night tho.

He’s pressing a bit. Was a little better last night. Guys are realizing he doesn’t stop in the paint and are just putting themselves in front of him and drawing the foul outside the circle or getting knocked over when the ref doesn’t call it. The three isn’t quite falling but he is taking good shots for the most part. I think with Randle and Barrett, if they have to dribble before taking a 3 they probably shouldn’t, but if they are open and spotted they should let it rip. This goes for pretty much anyone on the team not named Fournier, and even he should be thinking about it. I just think the guys lose their form and miss more. Fournier has a natural side step 3 that I am not gonna takeaway from him. But everyone else (including IQ) is just chucking and they have to trust the ball the find the open look instead of jacking the 3.

Hornets Coach helped us out at the end of regulation. Called timeout instead of letting Smith go one on one against Cam. Allowed us to set up a somewhat better defense. Great win.
Think Obi had it going from three and should have been in more towards the end. Same with IQ.
Big shots by Brunson and Randle at the end of OT though.

fishmike @ 10/27/2022 8:37 AM
great to us be able to win during a RJ/Randle miss-a-thon. They combined for 24 misses, but both had clutch moments late and that was nice in a game like this.

Brunson appears to overdribble at times but unlike someone like ELF once he gets to his spots he scores with high EFF% and his clutch play will really be a cool story line as the season goes on. He's got the makings of a good closer on offense.

Cha smoked the Hawks by 17 the other night with this crew so a win is a win. Being able to close and win these games is great. Squad looks good with plenty of upside. Bench need to play better. They didnt play a lick of defense and that's gonna have Thibs pissy which is good.

Great fun start to the season

This was almost the DSJ revenge game. Kind of knew this would be a battle. Steve Clifford is a good HC and got his team playing well. But great job taking care of business! Had to win these 3 home games cause the next few weeks are going to get tough!

We would have lost this game last season. Here is where having Brunson makes a big difference! I feel so comfortable having the ball in his hands late in the game. You just know you're going to get a good shot. He made some big shots in the 4th and OT last night. Including that pass to Robinson, who was outstanding too, for the dunk.

Kudos to Randle. Big offensive rebound and putback and left hand finisher to ice the game.

RJ had a so-so game but those 2 FT's were huge! You can tell he really worked on them in the offseason.

The bench was outplayed overall but good to see Obi knocking down some threes. Surprised Thibs went with Reddish to finish the game. Had a nice defensive stop and forced a TO on Oubre late in the game.

3-1, which might be our best record the entire season so enjoy it!!
