It is fun. But seems more agenda driven toward this year as you alluded. Pehraps a more "sensensional" tilt?

Yes. Him and Marci I find are tilting that way in certain regards. But maybe that's what they are going for.

I am liking Fred Katz more and more, he is the most thoughtful of all the Knicks beat guys IMHO but I don't pay attention to everything out there

I had to stop listening to Macri. Too much content to and its often diluted. Nice guy and I hope he does well chasing a dream, but Im sure he has bills to pay and get the ratings up.
Dude quite his attorney gig to chase his dream. The lack of beat writers and ensuing lack of access for the rest makes for few player stories.
Some of these guys might be interesting outside of hoop? We won't know.

Its a new era of reporting. The Tommy Beer stuff is fun for a bit but he too needs to keep up those tweets!

The one thing I'll never understand is the 1.5 to 2 hour podcasts after games. Do people really have time to listen to that much? Maybe I'm just too old and got better things to do.

I have tried on dog walks morning after. He has this “super chats” and its very similar to the short one liners we have here. He reads them. And comments. Not bad mind you, but just not really thing interesting. I never make it past 10 min. He starts then taking positions for or against players to create controversy that draws in people. Same like we. Hate randle, 10 people defend him. Another 10 reinstate their reasons for not liking randle. Think players are like stocks and value up and down based on short samples. little consideration for the money trade or kickers. Emotional chats. Similar to here.
