Good game to stay up for.

I really like Cam’s play. Makes fixable errors still but I’m good

Funny how when you give a player time, he develops! Glad he has been healthy!

no Jokic tomorrow - just means we'll get killed by someone else.

That’s a good way to put it. While he does some very frustrating things it seems the good still outweighs the bad.

Man… I can’t believe how bad we’re gonna lose tomorrow. We’re the worst.

EF is making a lot of money per minute.

God Bless him. He got the bag.

Great bounce back win! The defensive effort was a lot better! Still gave up some dumb wide open threes but there was a legit in effort to contest most threes.

Brunson was unstoppable! Just destroyed Conley and whoever they threw at him. IQ set the tone in the fourth. Two big threes and a nice lefty alley to Sims, who was also great! Loved his energy and his rebounding was great. Obi hit some big threes too. Reddish had some nice defensive stops and also hit two clutch ft's. I'll give RJ a pass since he was under the weather and I will always appreciate at least trying.

Also liked shortening the rotation to nine. Grimes needs to get healthy and stay healthy. He'll get his chance eventually.

Only complaint was Thibs bringing Randle back late in the fourth after Obi and that lineup were playing so well. I hate how much freedom Randle has and how he can't do no wrong. I bet it also annoys the players.

Obi +23

This a jinx thing?

Alpha1971 @ 11/15/2022 11:43 PM
Cam Reddish should get 30 mins a game from this point on. Grimes list his shot as long as Cam is healthy. Grimes bench three and D unless he proves otherwise. If RJ doesn't play smarter he should be replaced by one of the Millers como g out of the draft or another wing.
martin @ 11/15/2022 11:44 PM
Brunson be like, I been mowing down Utah since last season.

Nope. We’re just plain awful. We can’t beat anybody!!!

In like 18 minutes- he and quickly both. I didn’t understand the desire to take Obi out. It’s weird. We’re blown out yesterday, keeps RJ on the bench. Obi and IQ absolutely crushing it, let’s get Randle back out there. It is so clearly wrong and inexcusable and inexplicable.

GustavBahler @ 11/16/2022 12:10 AM
OK...starting to have a change of mind about Cam. He's addressing my biggest concerns with his play. He's doing the little things on both ends of the court. And he's staying aggressive. Not becoming a spectator.

"RJ vs. the glass"

Thats what it feels like watching RJ trying to finish. I wish he'd stand under the rim and spend a while banking it in with both hands. From every angle imaginable. Its like learning how to bank a pool shot. You study how the ball moves.

Was happy to see Quickley getting extended minutes at the 2. Showing what he can do as an SG. Cam has made a case to start. But Im glad Quickley showed that he can be a real threat at the 2. Had some real nice takes to the rim.

If you could give RJ Cam's finishing skills he would be a star.

If you could give Cam RJ's maturity and work ethic you would have a star.

You don't want to question any of Thibs bad decisions. Some people around here don't like that. Obi legit can't do anything to get good playing time. It does not matter how well he plays or how badly Randle plays. I did not watch the game because I went to sleep but plus 23 while shooting 75% from the field and 3. He only gets 18 minutes. I will continue to choose sleep over BS like that.

Clean @ 11/16/2022 2:08 AM
I am just noticing the big game Sims had. Good for him. Good on Thibs for sitting Evan the whole game. I did not mind him as much last year because he was shooting well but that has not been the case this year. If he is not shooting well he can not play. Grimes has not been good either. So I am OK with his benching also. Grimes has been injured so I will give him a break but he has to work on his shooting. He ha missed every open 3 I am see him shoot this season. That is not acceptable.

I already said I was wrong on Cam in the thread about him but I will also say it here. The man had trouble fitting in but he never complained and just worked behind the scenes. Glad to see that hard work is paying off. His good play allows us to bench Evan(worth the pick traded for this alone.)

Nalod @ 11/16/2022 3:58 AM
Does obi have like a “pitch count” were he plays certain minutes then his play drops off?
NBA teams track movement and other analytics. I too fell asleep on this game. Used to be able snooze during a quarter but now I just fall out for the rest of the game and few hours too!
Im not defending Thibs here but just trying to understand if he wants to win, and Obi playing good, the reasoning to take him out?
fitzfarm @ 11/16/2022 5:16 AM
What an improvement on team defense, cam is really coming into his own if he keeps this up we rocked that trade!

Now I want to see consistency let’s take down Denver like we should.
