Mitch has taken it to another level this year. Said it before: he looks like he is in a contract year.
For all of his issues, when he’s playing well he really is such a valuable player.

I see no issues. MitchRob is boss.
I love his contract, I love his effort, I love his improvements and I love the impact he's got on the floor.
He still flails like a blender and he's gonna miss some games but he's an impact player, plain and simple. We are better with Mitch on the floor and he's getting better at all of it.
He’s played great, we rarely get him the ball either.
Interesting comparison a guy we needed to give away because of our bad contracts whose the youngest player in the league.
Jalen Duran
6.6pts 7.7rbs 22 minutes
Mitch
7.3pts 8.3rbs 24 minutes

man your narrative sucks. Bad contracts? We didnt have any. The ones we GOT picks back on? Those? Somehow we have Brunson AND extra draft picks and your spinning it like our FO somehow phucked up.
Interesting... Sims is averaging 12 and 12 per 36 minutes. Obi is a star in the making. We have Mitch who's light years better than Duran right now and Randle.
Riddle me this...
What kind of smart org would draft Duran when they have a glut of quality in front of him. Does that sounds like a plan?
If they did draft him you would be the same clown saying "this FO drafted Duran with Sims/Randle/Obi here... they have no plan"
Your post stinks! Good Afternoon Sir!

Jalen Williams would have been the pick, just saying

I think you meant to say Tari Eason.
this is how you become better without adding more ppg or rebs:

Yeah I could have meant to say that also 😁

he played no college ball. Would he even have been asked to set a screen in HS?
Glad he has improved- hope it continues.
MitchRob's offensive-rebounds and block-party show has been the Knicks big-booster each game !!!
Less fouls, better team defense, willingness to guard up to the 3 point line, quick hands that generate turnovers, box outs on defensive rebounds, better vertical spacing in offensive half court, better picks, better off ball picks, constant pressure on offensive glass, hustles back in transition, there's a lot to like.
plus he will willingly dive for a ball
We need to involve him in the offense some more -- just to keep the opponent honest
Mitch has gotten back to doing the little things, that keep a team in the game. Was doing too much spectating. This is the player I was hoping to see when Mitch re-upped.

Over the first three quarters, the Knicks had all kinds of trouble with Bulls center Nikola Vucevic, allowing him to pile up 19 points and four assists. But in the fourth quarter and overtime, they held him scoreless. In the extra session, Mitchell Robinson blocked a Vucevic shot in the paint, which led to that clutch Grimes 3-pointer, which was the turning point of overtime. “He kept getting under my arm and I had to really sit down and beat him to the spot,” Robinson recalled after the win. “So that was really the main adjustment, just beat him to the spot. Just learning his moves.”
He added: “So now I done learned. It’s over with.”
The two big men will go at it again Friday night.
He added: “So now I done learned. It’s over with.”
That made me smile
Has Mitch turned a corner the past couple games, or is it just weak match up on Indiana?
7 blocks each of the past 2 games + numerous skying putbacks (and also misses, but the aggressiveness is there)

It’s Obi vs Randle. Robinson gets his rebounds and Randle’s. Obi passes to Robinson.
